The cabin is a cozy beautiful house in the nature, just over the lake. The location is very convenient, not far from Kiruna but already out of the view of the city and the mine. Fredrik is a great guest! Very glad to had the chance to meet him!

Wonderful place for some lazy days. The cabin is awesome and close to lake with snowmobiles passing by. Thats so cool. Close to icehotel and kiruna city for shopping. Thanks for a couple of lovely days up here.

Northernlight cabin 2 er staðsett í Kiruna. Superb, quiet cabin, with a stunning view over a frozen river. Great location to relax and take in the nature. Short 15 mins drive from the airport, easily accessible with a rental car, with the cabin being both remote and actually not too far of a drive from a small supermarket etc. Extremely nice and helpful owners, with Cecilia being super warm and always at the ready to help, living on the same property. Very clean cabin, with a great high bed, incl.a remote-control adjustable matress and a huge panoramic window above the bed, for that perfectly relaxing viewing point for aurora. Highly recommendable !

Northernlight cabin er gististaður við ströndina í Kiruna, 19 km frá umferðamiðstöðinni í Kiruna og 22 km frá LKAB Visitor Centre. Mikael, Cecilia, Chiara and BRUNO are awesome. They have created an incredible place with a lot of magic surrounding. The views on the lake from the bed are priceless and feeling the nature so close just makes somebody disconnect easily from the world and feel as if you are in wonderland. Congratulations to the hosts, couldn't imagine anything better

Gististaðurinn er í 22 km fjarlægð frá Kiruna og í 35 mínútna akstursfjarlægð frá Nikkaluokta. Boðið er upp á herbergi með nútímalegum innréttingum og útsýni yfir vatnið. The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.

This hotel is in Abisko, just 2 minutes’ walk from Abisko Östra Train Station. Abisko Mountain Lodge’s in-house restaurant Brasserie Fjällköket has a seasonal menu based on locally sourced... Everything, very cosy. As described.

Reindeer Lodge er með gufubað og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Það er í innan við 23 km fjarlægð frá Kiruna-lestarstöðinni og 20 km frá Kiruna-rútustöðinni. A traditional complex in a sami family with all facilities surrounded by forest and reindears plus a moose who visited us one evening. Bonus the nice sauna and the tent for breakfast, the big fire and off course the aurora. What do you need more? Thank you again to all the team!

Camp Caroli Wooden Cabins er staðsett í Jukkasjärvi og býður upp á ókeypis WiFi, garð, verönd og grillaðstöðu. Really nice experience. The host Stefan is the best. He is very helpful. We will be back soon. The location is perfect for exploring the northern part of Norrbotten (Swedish Lapland). We went to Abisko (twice), Nikkaluokta, Kebnekaise, Jokkmokk, Karesuando, Kaaresuvanto (Finland) and Narvik (Norway) - and other places. We really enjoyed the midnight-sun experience that you can get above the polar circle at summertime.

Aurora Camp Kurravaara er umkringt skógi og er staðsett við ána Torne, 13 km frá Kiruna-flugvellinum. Aðstaðan innifelur gufubað og verönd með útihúsgögnum. One of the best places we've ever stayed. Main disclaimer is you absolutely need a car to stay here. If you are not renting a car, stay closer to town. We had a car and intentionally booked a place outside of town that would give us greater visibility of the aurora. The location of this property is unlike any other. You can go on hikes to see the lights at all hours of the night and you get 360 degree views of the sky if you walk out onto the lake. The wilderness left cabin was equipped with everything we could ever need. Warm, comfortable beds, great shower facility and best of all was our private sauna. The staff was extremely helpful when we struggled making a fire for the sauna. I would recommend this property to anyone and hope to return someday!
