We wanted to spend a weekend in a quiet place surrounded by nature, and Somova Gora chalet was an excellent choice. The chalet is very comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen, six beds and a sofa, and two wood-burning stoves that keep the place wonderfully warm. We really enjoyed in the house and hopefully will come back.

This house as well as the location is truly amazing. I took my 2 sons here for autumn holidays and they loved it. Biking, hiking, jacuzzi in the mornings and evenings... we had a lot of fun. Homeowner Nina was a great support and advisor on what to see and where to go. This was our first vacation in Slovenia and definitely not the last :)

It's very rural and can be very quiet (if other vacationers are not making noise next door). There is a small stream on the property. The house itself is sufficient for families. Up to 3 people can sleep in each of the two bedrooms. If you're European you'll likely find it fairly standard, if you're American you'll find it small with steep steps. It's a great place to stay put and relax. It is not well-connected to anything, so if you're hoping to go out, plan for lots of time spent in the car, otherwise, bring lots of food and whatever else you need and just chill out.
