What a great choice that was! We could book a sharkdiving experience via a recommendation of the hotel and had a wonderful stay too: (i) our room had a pool view and was spacious, (ii) the property lies in a very quiet neighbourhood, so although the pool lies next to a road, there is no noise as there is no traffic, (iii) the owner Jonathan is an excellent host that manages to find a good balance between his guests’ privacy and the social angle and (iv) the dinner he cooked for us and the rest of the guests was excellent - it was also a nice experience to meet some of the other guests and hear about their backgrounds and travels. We would definitely recommend!

The Guest Lodge is situated in a very quiet and peaceful location in L’Aguhlas. Within walking distance to the famous lighthouse and the southernmost point of Africa. Thanks to the host, the self-check-in / check-out was very smooth. And we got prompt help from the owner when we didn't figure out how to put electricity on. The rooms were very clean and had all the necessary conveniences. Strongly recommended to anyone who wishes to make a stop in L’Agulhas.

Its extremely difficulty to single out the names to thank the staff because you all welcomed us with sincere hospitality and attentive service. We wholeheartedly loved our room with enormous space to relax and enjoy the sea breeze and view.

Christine went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable. We were really well looked after. Will definitely return.

I was just amazed with the attention to detail. This place truly lacked nothing. And waking up to the sound of the birds with the beautiful mountain view was the best. Sue was very helpful, and having a chat with her husband when we left. Giving us a bit of his future plans was quite exciting to hear. We really loved his friendliness and concern about how we enjoyed their beautiful space. Will definitely return when they have expanded their property.

A beautiful newly built little wooden cabin tucked away in the hills of Tesselaarsdal valley. It's completely off the grid but is extremely well equipped with everything and more that you'll need. We were treated to some of the organic veggies grown on the farm and let's just say we didn't know veggies could taste THIS good! The owners, Judy and Henry, are lovely and very welcoming. Our highlight was braaiing down by the dam. We were treated with an amazing sunset, sounds of nature, and a windless starry night. You can also swim in the dam with some pool noodles that they provide.
