But be careful: The hippos come out of the river at night and you better stay inside of your chalet. We were instructed that this would happen and at night they accompanied us from dinner to our chalets. Super friendly staff organized a tour to the Victoria falls and through the city of Livingstone.

The staff were warm and welcoming, always ready to help without being intrusive. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and I appreciated the attention to detail in the decor—it felt very authentic and relaxing. Plus, the food was excellent, especially the local dishes. Overall, it was a perfect retreat for reconnecting with nature and unwinding.
