We LOVED everything about this place! Franco and Paola were the most wonderful, friendly, helpful hosts and the house and rooms are absolutely stunning. After a long day's hiking on the Via Degli Dei, Franco very kindly offered to pick us up in Monzuno to bring us to the house, he was so friendly and kind. We had amazing rooms with comfy beds and hot showers. We ate the most delicious home cooked meal in the restaurant, very fresh ingredients, amazing clementinas! Franco also took us back to our route the next day after a lovely breakfast and taught us a lot about the local area. We can't wait to back!

Clean, comfortable , very friendly helpful staff . Excellent food and facilities for tired hikers on the Degli Dei. The private 3 bed room was lovely and had a great bathroom and shower.

The stay at Federicos place was so great. The place has everything what you need on the Via degli dei. The place is super clean. Federico texted us when he saw that a thunderstorm was coming and even picked us up. He recommend the restaurant in front of his place for dinner and it was so good. Highly recommend this place. If you are walking the Via degli Dei or looking for a peaceful place to stay close to nature, don't look any further. We (a couple in their early 30s) stayed at the Refugio for one night in a 4-bed dorm room. These were the first bunk beds in a long time, where you couldn't actually feel it all moving when the other person moved a finger! They were super comfortable too, and if you are not hauling your sleeping bag around, it is possible to ask for bedsheets as well. The bathrooms looked like they were recently renovated and were super clean. The dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious and plentiful and provided the opportunity to connect with the other hikers. Wifi is available at the property but be prepared for spotty phone coverage (or maybe it was just our provider).

A perfect place to stay, with beautiful.scenery, great host, amazing hospitality. The place is cosy with a unique sauna facility. THE actual home is asolid timber structure with lots of character and great finishes. We highly recommend mappamundi!! Samantha, Maximo andt their famy are the perfect t host!
