We stayed at the little wooden house and it has been amazing. Very romantic and cosy. There has been a lot of care for every detail, with taste and precision. One of the most charming places we have ever stayed for a holiday. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful if you needed.

Stopped overnight walking Via Francesco. This 2 bedroom house is set in abeautiful location with outside terrave area overlooking the mountains, taking time to appreciate the steep climb it has taken to get here. Nunzia was a lovely host. She offered dinner on arrival which sadly I had to decline as was meeting other's for dinner I had met on the route. If you are staying with her, ask about this in advance and I am sure she will offer you a deal. The house itself is beautifully laid out and fresh. Would recommend.

The most amazing place living in a barrel with plenty of space. Had a wine gourmet experience where we were showed and told about their wine production and afterwards tried 7 of their wine with a big dinner. Extremely high value for money! The man showing us around and presenting the wine and dinner was very good at english and obviously knew a lot about wine and wine production. One of the best tours we have tried. Wonderful breakfast too served by the barrel. Beautiful area for a walk.

Il Casale La Quercia is one of the best places we've ever stayed. We would rate it more than 10 if possible. Every detail in the rooms, kitchen, patio, lounge and grounds are lovingly designed and maintained to the last detail and for guests' comfort and relaxation. Breakfast was delicious and tailored to our needs. Most important are the care and concern of our hosts, Salvatore and David. They are accessible, welcoming, and helpful in every way, and at the same time not intrusive. The surrounding area is lovely, with many places to hike, relax, eat fine food and enjoy the beautiful scenery. We have every hope to stay here again and bring friends and family.

The location was great, its on the "main road" passing the town but it isn't loud at all. The bed was nice and soft. The kitchen had enough for us to use during the four days we stayed. The host was outstanding. The heaters worked extremely well and there was enough hot water for my wife and I to both shower.
