The accommodation was excellent; comfortable bed, good shower, generous breakfast and everything was spotlessly clean. Our lovely host Samuel was so kind and helpful. He upgraded us from a double room to an apartment and even gave us a lift into town for dinner and again in the morning to resume the Via Francigena.

What was there not to like!!! The couple running this Tuscan Villa were simply outstanding, the breakfast included was delicious and they catered to your needs, providing restaurant and parking suggestions for towns and cities nearby. The villa was very well kept, the grounds along with the rooms were great. Each room has it's own little outdoor patio, perfect for sitting in the evening to enjoy a beverage. We had a busy schedule while at the villa, so I wish we had booked one more day to simply lounge around and enjoy the pool and sunbathing loungers. This is a very small and quaint villa, only 3 rooms, I believe, so you definitely get personal service.

Pleasant accommodation in a secluded location, in a large garden with a large swimming pool and peaceful surroundings. A few minutes from Montecatini Terme. Also close to Lucca.     Beautiful location and attention to detail with the apartment was outstanding. Apartment has everything you could need and the hosts had stocked up on food which was a lovely surprise. Very comfortable bed and welcoming clean presentation. Nothing more to ask for really! And the hosts themselves were very kind and helpful - only shame was my lack of Italian, as I would have liked to have got to know them better :)

    If traveling by car, the location is convenient. Not far from the autobahn. There is a supermarket and several cafes within a short drive. The owners were in touch. The kitchen is equipped with all necessary appliances and contains a lot of utensils.
