My partner and I stayed two nights in Glimra Eco lodge and this was a true pleasure. Roshani and her husband are such amazing hosts and so helpful, it couldn’t be any better. They did everything to make our stay memorable. From cooking delicious meals, to arranging a safari for us in Udawalawe, which is cheaper compared to the usual prices. Roshani also took us to a place nearby to see the beautiful sunset from up above a hill. The views from the ecolodge are amazing. One morning we could even see an elephant having a bath on the other side of the lake!

The rustic charm and quirkiness of the treehouse exceeded expectations. The staff we’re fantastic and took us on a private safari in Udawalawe (about 25 minutes away) where we got so close to the elephants. They also arranged a guided canoe trip on the nearby lake - sadly no bathing elephants this time but plenty of other wildlife to see. The evening meal we had there was perhaps the best curry I have ever eaten and all of this at exceptionally good prices. We spoke to several people who went to Yala and spent far more, saw far less and didn’t seem get anywhere near the experience we did.

Calm & quiet environment blended with nature as all the balconies faced towards a teak wood cultivated area. Friendly, attentive staff. The owner himself personally look into everything & make sure the guest's satisfaction throughout the stay. The large pool area is superb for relaxation. We had an authentic, Sri Lankan dinner buffet followed by an English breakfast next day. Home prepared delicious food .Safari jeep tours can be conveniently arranged from the hotel.

It’s the wonderful staff who made our stay here so great. We had wonderful home made meals and went on amazing full day safari. The accomodation is rustic but totally functional and is within the casa resort. Thanks for a great stay.

My favourite stay in Sri Lanka. Sachi and Hansi were amazing hosts who always went the extra mile. The property is a beautiful, peaceful oasis in Udawalawa and the pool is great. Breakfasts and dinners were delicious!

It was a pleasure to stay at Leel's Safari Cottage! Leel, Nameli and Leel's Mother are such heartful persons, we had a lot of fun together! The rooms are very new and have a nice view to the garden which is wunderful! Make the Safari Tour with Lee, he has very good knowledge, and gives his best to give you the most special experience. He showed us so many animals! Also the food his mother and wife are cooking is very delicious! His taxi driver sameera is also great.We highly recommend this place, and hope we come back soon! The stay was absolutely perfect! I wouldn’t change one thing about this place. We stayed for one night and from start to finish, the service and hospitality was exceptional, we were truly treated like family. The food was cooked fresh to order and absolutely divine, and we were fed until we couldn’t eat any more! The bed was super comfy and all the bathroom facilities were really good. The safari was great too. I don’t often write reviews but this place deserves one! The owner even called to speak to us just before we left to make sure we had a good stay!
