The hotel has a very pleasant atmosphere in a fantastic location. The room is adequate and pleasant. The breakfast is very tasty. The service is spectacular, Mr Domingos is extremely friendly. It's a place I'll certainly return to.

The hotel was fabulous! The food was on another level! We opted for half board, for ease (never done this before). They had 3 choices for starter and also for main (which changed every day) and additional options for a small fee. Then a full sweet selection to choose from. The huge Breakfast selection was incredible, Full English, Continental or Pastries. We were always full and ready for the day. The Spa (Sauna and Jacuzzi was small, but as you needed to book and they only allow a few guests in at a time, it was perfect and just what we needed after a full day's Skiing. The rooms were lovely, had fantastic views and was clean, warm and spacious. The service from everyone in the hotel was fantastic, especially Juan on reception, one of the friendliest and most helpful humans I've come across. See you all next year!

We stayed here 5 years ago, and this year we got back for skiing. The best hotel in the area, SPA is fantastic and restaurant is super, beds are for deep sleep, the view is stunning. If we go to Andorra again, we will choose Roc Meler again. Thank you guys 😁

The hotel let us check in around 12 which was really great. The room was spacious, clean, and bright. The bathroom had both a bathtub and a shower. There is a small spa inside of the hotel that one can visit for 10e/hour. Also a very pleasant bar. The breakfast was really, really good with fresh fruit and varieties of food offered.

Great location for skiing - you can walk to one of the main ski lifts in less than 10 minutes. You can of course drive to the others - Ordino was the furthest away, which took us less than 45 minutes. Very scenic view of the slopes from the apartment. We were met by Angela, who gave us a tour of the property and handed us the keys - this was arranged with ease via WhatsApp before we arrived. Parking is available underground, or if necessary, you can park on the road just outside the apartment block. The parking is a bit tight (as with any underground parking place), but we managed fine with a big Skoda Estate, so if you have a smaller car you'll be absolutely fine. It was lovely having an ice-free, warm car to get into before we hit the ski slopes! The shower was good, with plenty of hot water for both of us to shower one after another. Excellent heating in the property - all can be controlled by us, which is a positive. There is space to store wet skis/boots in the parking area (secure room). The property is wheelchair accessible from the car park via a lift.

Canillo it self is a lovely place and convenient to ski and Grandvalira resort in Canillo has the zipline experience and also roller coaster which is lots of fun also when you do zip line there is a lovely little park at the bottom which is ideal for snow fights which we took full advantage of and also made snow men local shops are ok and the petrol station is also good. There is lots of places to walk They also had a lighting event you can walk through and even mini little hikes you can do if you like to do long walks like us. The rivers are also nice. Good to have a car here to explore more of the areas.

Such a quaint little village full of history, not too many...

Such a quaint little village full of history, not too many tourists. The food was amazing and reasonably priced at all the cafes we tried. The laundromat is super clean and efficient. The walks offered around the valley were set for all different fitness levels. The bus up to the Tibetan bridge was insanely worth it. The only down side is not having a car to get around as some of the neighbouring villages would have been fabulous to visit. A shuttle service would be ideal.

Went in September, weather was perfect.

Went in September, weather was perfect. Town was pleasant plenty of restaurants. Good base for exploring Andorra. Mountain roads were excellent but concentration required! Stunning views. Andorra main town, bustling, plenty of brand names shops and small shops, random sculptures. Also historic part of town very interesting buildings and plenty to see.

Nice small village, has a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere, is family-friendly, and has really nice restaurants. Telecabina in the village is really good but no possibility to go direct to the slopes like from El Tarter or Soldeu. Very good bus connection to other villages.

Canillio is lovely and quiet for families, so no noisy night...

Canillio is lovely and quiet for families, so no noisy night clubs or bars. It is literally opposite the Gondola with fantastic facilities for children, for example, a children's play area, zip line, go karting on a rail, children's ski school and nursery. The hotel Font d Argent had an indoor soft play area, the rooms were very spacious with a connecting room for the children and separate TV's too.

It was a very short visit to Canillo.

It was a very short visit to Canillo. We visited the ice rink and even tried skating. We went on a day trip to the Tibetan Bridge and the viewpoint; the bus was great and a very convenient way to get there and back. We have to go back to fully enjoy Canillo.

Thanks to this place we’ve discovered a different Andorra! The hotel is located in a picturesque valley, next to the trekking routes and run buy an amazing team. Very special atmosphere, attention to details, delicious food! We loved the terrace outside and the fireplace zone inside too. Cosy and homey.

Great location in the centre of Canillo. Close to everything you need and the ski slopes. Buffet Breakfast is really good, one of the best I have had in a 3 star hotel. Rooms are spacious with nice views to the mountains. Overall good value for money.
