I love the Ocean view from my room, love the Oxstail dinner...
I love the Ocean view from my room, love the Oxstail dinner from the Jamaican restaurant, love the Pool, and love how a couple of the staff was so wonderful and caring towards the guest. One staff stood out, Jenin, she really made our trip to not be a total lost. The excursion was nice, Flava was very knowledgeable and the lunch prepared was great. I love my housekeeper, she really did a great job in keeping the room clean. My bed Sheets had stains when I got there, the Curtains to the Balcony had blood stains on it, the housekeeper, Yeraldan changes the sheets before I could ask her to. That was on point. I do not like how most of the Hotel staff was rude, unfriendly, and unprofessional, they needed some training on how to talk to and care for your guest. I do not like how you were assigned a Butler but did not get the help you requested from your Butler, not one visit to the room, it sounds nice but there were not one there for you. We got a pre written WhatsApp's message, once in the morning and one at night. I did not like the quality of the food, not good at all and not enough variety, did not like that they ran out of beach towels around 5:30 pm when I wanted to go to the beach. Even thought the Birds are wonderful to see, I definitely did not like the Birds flying and landing on the Table while you eat your meal trying to get them something to eat, also they landed on the utensils before guest comes in to eat. Not good at all. Overall, I could have made the food work, and everything else, but the behavior of the staff was unbelievable and unacceptable. I didn't enjoy our trip to St John's.
I didn't enjoy our trip to St John's. There is nothing to do or see and everything is ridiculously expensive. Asked for a Caribbean restaurant and was told to go to "Hemingway's" and the offer was of burgers and salads, so never got to taste anything really local or typical. Were asked if we wanted a taxi every 2 minutes but people were very nice. Roads and open sewers are terrible. Radcliffe Quay is interesting. Ana's is great location, and reasonable prices. 1st Choice has much variety and deli food is excellent and great value. Difficult getting around St John's due to bad road conditions, with washed out sides, speed bumps and open sewers. You need to know your way around.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

This stay was total 11 nights moved from other room for 4-night studio. All units are privately owned so no two are alike, meaning furnishings and bath and kitchen updates are all different. If I was alone, I would have had to request a step ladder as everything in kitchen was too high up to reach. MICROWAVE in a cabinet above the fridge set back??? ALL in all, decent room a little pricy in my opinion for off season. The staff was very friendly. Location allows you a nice beach walk either direction. A few restaurants nearby. You do need to be aware next to Sandals so it can be a little loud in the afternoon. Many many beautiful beaches would need transportation. Driving is not for the faint of heart. The view from our balcony was second to none and the beach was fantastic for swimming and sunbathing with fine sand and clear blue water.
