The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived one day late because of dhrones in the airport and got uppgraded to the suite. They also helped to make enquires about our luggage which was lost. It felt that your were visiting friends in their lovely house and we already look forward to return.

Really nice hotel to stay, super clean, in an excellent location. The hotel is nicely decorated, , I was impressed with the beautiful wooden curved furniture and lampshades, it was a feeling like staying in a beautiful castle. The staff was very helpful. Highly recommend.

We stayed in this hotel because we had a wedding in Durres. The hotel was brand new, very clean and staff was very kind. They allowed us to have a bit of a late check out so we could get ready for the wedding. They also were able to delivered an iron for clothes to get ourself ready. They have private parking and everything was around 5 min by car. Very worth it for the money paid.

I really liked the hotel. Recently renovated, everything is very aesthetic, both in the room and in the corridors and at the reception. Everything is thought out down to the details. Aesthetes will definitely like it. Very friendly staff ready to help with any question you may have, which is very important, when you are in this area for the first time. Convenient location: there is a supermarket in the next building, opposite a bakery and pastry shop, the beach is within walking distance, although I liked the beach on the pier, it takes 15-20 minutes to walk, which is also not far. There are also a lot of restaurants, ice cream shops and other shops on the embankment. 30 minutes by car to the airport. I recommend.

Durres is a nice relaxing place to stay, a lot of history.

Durres is a nice relaxing place to stay, a lot of history. plenty of shops, people were helpful, plenty of small bars most selling food at very reasonable prices. A walk along the beach is recommended where there are many restaurants with lots of variety. if travelling i would recommend taking a bus as taxis are rather expensive i.e. a bus from the airport will cost 7 euro whilst a taxi will cost around 37 euro.

When we visited the busy season had finished so a lot of the restaurants were closed. I think the resort would be very lively in the main season. Would recommend visiting before the middle of September

We hired electric bikes and rode across the city, which has lots of historical sites. The people are friendly and welcoming. The food is also amazing here. There are local homemade foods too. We came in September and it was still warm enough to tan but not so hot you couldn’t enjoy walking or exercising.

Durrës is a very diverse city, with both modern buildings and unfinished construction as well as scattered trash. The seafront promenade is long and pleasant, lined with plenty of restaurants and small shops. Public transport is available and inexpensive, with a bus ticket costing 40 lek. You can also find bike rentals for exploring the city.

I find that the banking situation is an obscene scam. All of my credit card purchases serviced by Raiffheisen Bank were declined at grocery stores for some reason. Several ATMS did not provide me with cash. I had to take cash out of an ATM that charged me $50 US Dollars to take cash out, because the card servicer wasn't approving the card transactions at the grocery store. I have not had this serious of a problem in any other country. I didn't really explore a lot. I wish there was a store that carried camping/hiking equipment. I think the coastline is nice. The restaurant prices seem to be reasonable. Mostly I stayed in my room at my hostel by myself so I can't really be reliable to rate the entire city.

Know where you are going and evaluate it accordingly! Durres is a city that is developing at a rapid pace, including the coast, the port and the city. The coastal promenade began to be transformed in 2022 and it turned out beautifully! It has one shortcoming, there is no garbage collector anywhere by the sidewalk, despite this, there is no garbage anywhere. Along the coast, you can still see the buildings left from the 19th century fishing village, some of them are still inhabited (!), in some places there is still a pile of garbage, beggars walk around in the evening, but the sea is fine, the transformation of the coast was very successful. Getting into the city from the hotel row by bus is inconvenient. It is nice to see how the city and the coast are completely transformed and modernized over the years. In 2025, three new hotels will be built on the hotel row, within a kilometer, and the handover is scheduled for 2026. Let's take a look! The food is pretty much the same everywhere, good, as are the prices, but the hospitality at the DELFINI restaurant is excellent! The people are nice and friendly. The traffic, oh my, you have to pay attention! The one whose car is ahead has priority. They honk, but despite that, they are patient and understanding with foreigners. In previous years, there was a concrete-lined beach area in front of some hotels, which was being cleaned up. Unfortunately, the concrete pieces can still be found underwater, which is very unpleasant to step on. Beachgoers throw the concrete pieces onto the beach, and the garbage truck takes them away the next morning. It would be nice to sift this out with a machine! In Italy, we saw a tractor that sifted and cleaned not only the beach sand, but also the sand in the shallow water. It should be done here, too!

This is the best place we stayed in Albania. Every single one is friendly and you feel so welcome. The rooms are nice and clean and food really great. Not to forget that you feel you’re in a small oasis with a laidback atmosphere on an island far away, when you enjoy eating or having drinks outside. A hotel like this, we seldom meet, and if it was in Indonesia , or Malaysia..well done Cosmo… I hope it stays like this….

Choosing these apartments was the best decision. Great design, everything is very cool and conveniently thought out. The apartments are located 2 minutes' walk from the beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful and i really thank you about it! My family and I really liked everything and if we are in Albania again, we will definitely stay here again

The hotel was lovely and the staff were lovely. It was very near the beach and very near the port (which was a major factor in our booking it). The aircon worked nicely. We had a good recommendation for some proper albanian food to eat.

This hotel is REAL (this classification is needed in Albania). It is run by 2 friendly brothers who run a small caffe downstairs. When you get a top quality coffee just downstairs it means day started well.
