We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Palorto Inn, set in a beautifully renovated Ottoman house in the old town of Gjirokastër. Everything is brand new, with a spacious, stylish and very comfortable room. The welcome was exceptional: the owner is truly incredible and the staff extremely attentive, kind, and caring. They also helped us solve all our little issues — including a problem we had with our car — and were of great assistance throughout our stay. Breakfast, currently served in a nearby restaurant, was delicious.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options. We especially loved the stunning mountain views from our room and the relaxing jacuzzi. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel!

This place is super cozy, clean and silent. Owner was very friendly and hospitable. Very good breakfast. Owner serves super good turkish coffee. The feeling is like at home with a lot of cute and friendly cats (which all are clean and healthy). Highly recomend if you want to stay close to the centre in a silent area where streets are not so tricky and narrow as in the oldtown.

It’s a new hotel decorated as the old houses you find in Gjirokaster, so it’s very pleasant. The beds were very much to our taste, you didn’t sink in. Everything was clean and the location was so convenient, because you can access the Old Town right away taking in the main street by car (or walk uphill in the cobble stones street if you like). Breakfast was varied, continental and abundant.

This seems a very traditional property with a modern twist. Very comfortable stay. I wish we could have stayed longer! The staff were exceptionally helpful including help with luggage and recommendations for dinner and breakfast which were both enjoyed by us both.
