Perfect stay with Thanasi, true Albanian hospitality. The restaurant and house are brand new and very clean. The power was out when we arrived due to a thunderstorm, but this didn’t matter at all, we had a delicious dinner prepared by cantle light, and some really nice chats. The bed was so comfy!

The place was very nice,convenient and clean. Very close with all the historical sites in the area with a very reasonable price. The owners of the hotel were offering outdoor activities, too,if you want to explore the landscape of the Drinos river valley. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was very comfortable and with a beautiful view. I would definitely recommend the place if you are visiting Gjirokastra.

A truly unforgettable stay! My husband and I had an amazing time during our stay. We enjoyed absolute peace and quiet, surrounded by endless greenery and right next to a historic site. The food, prepared by Gero, was absolutely delicious from traditional local dishes to his authentic pizzas, everything was full of flavor and made with care. But what truly made our experience special was the incredible team. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, and we definitely made new friends. A special mention goes to Agush ,unbelievably funny, full of energy, and truly the heart and soul of the hotel. He will forever have a special place in our hearts. We’ll definitely be back soon!

A very quiet, spacious, clean apartment with good facilities in a fantastic location with an amazing host who went out of his way to make us feel welcome and at home. Very close to Gjirokastër and a short drive to the supermarket, lots of hiking and sights in the local area. Not forgetting the friendly cat of course. The breakfast is delicious traditional fried dough, which is very rich with a variety of homemade jams. It is so enjoyable to enjoy the picture-like scenery of Gjirokaster on the beautiful large terrace! Although the location is not in the city center, the road is very easy for a self-driving car. The beautiful villa is spotlessly clean! If you live in the center of the old city, it is a test for the driver's skills!

Could not recommend this place enough. The rooms are fantastic for the price, the terrace has a great view and the breakfast is delicious - by far the best included breakfast we had in Albania. The best part was the hospitality. The owner was so helpful and friendly to the point where he was happy to give us a lift to the castle on his way to the shops. Highly recommended.
