The hotel and it's facilities are super new, and we could really tell that the staff was making a strong effort to make sure guests enjoyed their experience at the hotel. Location-wise, the hotel is located in the shade of several buildings built behind us, so we weren't put at full blast of the sun's rays. The rooftop swimming pool directly faced the sea, giving us a lovely view of the sunset. Additionally, the aircon of the rooms was very strong, which was a godsend to beat the hot Sarande heat. The hotel's breakfast buffet was well varied in options and super filling Shoutout to the hotel manager Odis who has been super attentive and supportive to our needs. He goes above and beyond to make sure guests feel comfortable and welcomed!

Vale Hotel is definitely the most beautiful on the promenade. We got the sea front view with a beautiful terrace over the sea. The view from the terrace was definitely the best part of our experience in Albania. The breakfast had a good variety and was delicious. The coffee was great, Illy Coffee. Every evening we got fruit delivered to the room and we had a free minibar with water and juice. The bed was comfortable, the rooms clean with fresh towels every day, and the toilet was a an amazingly Japanese toilet. Downstairs they produce their own ice cream from local milk, tasted very good. One of the days we got a free trip from the hotel with the boat to Mirror beach. Was a great experience and we are very grateful for it! The owners and the staff were very polite and was a pleasure to meet them. Thank you for a great experience! We would love to repeat this experience!

Had a very comfortable stay , everything was new because it is a new hotel. Loved the shower ,the bed was new and comfy. Location is walking distance from the port terminal . Lots of shops and restaurants around. Recommended

The breakfast was so good with a variety of of cheeses, olives, breads fruit and treats. We were also treated to baked goods every morning made especially for us. The food was lovely.

Despite my extensive experience as a traveler, I am writing my first hotel review to commend this exceptional hotel. The accommodations are top-notch, with rooms that are impeccably clean and beautifully appointed. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, always eager to assist with any requests or concerns. Additionally, the food in the hotel restaurant is delicious and of very high quality. My stay in Albania was truly memorable, thanks to their outstanding service.

    We did a couple of tours.

    We did a couple of tours. One was a minivan tour showing us the blue eye and Gyrokaster which was brilliant then we took a boat tour down the coast which was definitely not our sort of trip, banging music was spoiling the peace and tranquility, the beach we were dropped at for 3 hours was covered in rubbish. Taxis are expensive but we used a local bus to go to Butrint and Ksamil which was easy and well worth doing. Sarande itself was very touristy even for September plenty of bars and restaurants at a reasonable price.

    Saranda is a beautiful Mediterranean beach city, full of charm, great restaurants, and plenty of attractions. Local companies offer boat trips that are a fantastic way to explore the stunning coastline and discover the beauty of southern Albania’s beaches. The only thing to keep in mind is that some restaurants located off the main promenade may require walking up or down stairs, which could be a bit challenging for those with mobility issues.

    Sarande is not very clean & there are a lot of half...

    Sarande is not very clean & there are a lot of half constructed hotels everywhere. The promenade has many tacky bars, a strip club & amusements along it. Aesthically it does not present well. The whole town lacks charm. There are too many beach clubs you have to pay to enter which makes the town feel like a wannabe Ibiza. The public beach is nice and the water is lovely to swim in.

    Sarandë itself was great for a holiday and there are many great day trips you can do also. We enjoyed seeing Gjirokaster and the Blue Eye spring as well as the view from Sarandë castle. The fresh produce is wonderful- great food! Great value and friendly, happy people.

    The beaches are quite crowded as this is a popular...

    The beaches are quite crowded as this is a popular destination due to the easy ferry access from Corfu and Italy. Coming from Australia we are not used to sitting on pebbled beaches for long periods. We stayed seven days and, in that time, visited Gjirokaster and the Blue eye (day tour with Rei Tours), Butrint and Ksamil. We probably could have done all that in 5 days as well as relaxing in Sarande.

    Certainly not the next Rivera!

    Certainly not the next Rivera! Really ugly in terms of the newer buildings. Not much to do there at all except for going to the beach. Every shop had fake brands in them and that’s it! Lacked any cultural feel. No customer service. In general people were very very rude and not pleasant to deal with. Streets were really dirty.

    Our stay at Hotel Teuta was wonderful. The hotel was beautiful, very clean, and well maintained. The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was delicious and a great start to the day. The road to get there is a bit bumpy and hilly, but that’s to be expected in Saranda and didn’t take away from the experience. Overall, it was excellent value for money, and we truly enjoyed our time here.

    It was perfect, the room was amazing and the service was very good. We visited 3 diffrent hotels in saranda and ksamil, this one was the best. It should be a 5 star hotel! Good job to the owner and the staff. If you want a good, clean hotel with a good service and with the perfect location book this hotel. The queen svit was amazing!

    The location is fantastic , you have a nice beaches (another hotel) near with 2 sunbeds for 20 euro. The beach is fantastic, at the evning they have live music on the beach with fire and nice seats , with ok drinks.. the owner is great and the location also. You are in saranda in 5 min with car. I had a great view also.

    Best place to stay in Saranda, cosy hotel just above the beach, the staff excellent (receptionist is very sweet girl) and the room full insolated from the outside noise. As central as it could be. Familiar and comfy. What a great finding.
