I arrived in the middle of the night because my previous accommodation threatened me and my life was at risk. I had to leave suddenly when they decided to cut off the services, and I felt abandoned and stressed by the whole situation. Hotel Drini welcomed me in the middle of the night and allowed me to check in early! They accepted my request to enter ahead of time and treated me better than a queen from day one. They are incredibly positive people! A beautiful family who will always give you more than they have! They deserve the best in this world! In this place, you will feel better than at home! Everything is super clean! From the food to the service and facilities, everything is excellent. If you visit Durrës, you must stay here! You will even learn some Albanian, as they are always willing to teach you about their culture and give you the best tips! I would stay here forever! It’s hard to leave when you feel better than at home! Many thanks to everyone for the treatment I received and continue to receive! Amazing Experience, Best Value for Money! I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I can confidently say it exceeded my expectations. The owners are fantastic – truly warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything you need. When it comes to value for money, this place is unbeatable. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Despite the affordable price, we felt like we were getting five-star service. Everything about this hotel was perfect. The location (approx 15-min car drive from Durres centre) is away from other hotels in the middle of an agricultural area with beautiful scenery, on a main road into Durres (although you can drive over the top on local roads full of potholes and stones). The staff are all very helpful and friendly, making you feel special. The lady on reception who speaks very good English is particularly friendly. The gardens and pool area are 5* and whilst we were there end of May/beginning of June it was not very busy at all. More people are around at the weekend (local day guests). Horse-riding on site is included in the room rate. Breakfasts are more than enough with eggs, sausage, cheese, tomatoes, cucumber, olives and bread followed by croissants and chocolate sauce. We had one evening meal at the hotel (as we like to try different restaurants) and the goat and beef were amazing. We hope to visit Albania again next year and will definitely stay here again.
