The cottage is located high in the mountains, where it's just you. You can go for walks in the area and enjoy the peace and quiet. The owners are very nice, kind and helpful. The Legend Guest House was one of our best experiences so far in Armenia. The hospitality from the whole family was simply overwhelming. We got home made fish, beans and salad for dinner - with fabulous self made wine and wodka - and a variety of breakfast options. It was not only delicious, but also so much food we cannot eat it all, even though we are good eaters. ;-) The room is small, but you can also use a living room with comfortable couches and you have a private bathroom. If you like to hike you have a great option to hike to a fortress and a monastery just around the corner. Everything was clean and comfortable. But the best thing about this guesthouse is the family that welcomes you, makes you feel at home and takes care of you. Don't hesitate to book this guesthouse, you won't be disappointed.

I stayed for the Areni Wine Festival weekend, spending both Friday and Saturday nights at this property. It was perfect, as I didn’t have to worry about taking a taxi back to Yerevan after enjoying all the delicious wine. I arrived in Areni on Friday afternoon via private taxi, but Martin and his father, the hosts, kindly arranged a mini-van to take me back to Yerevan on Sunday morning at a very reasonable price. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful, offering great recommendations for things to do and see in the area. The terrace boasts stunning views, and my room was spacious and comfortable. Although breakfast isn't provided, there’s a wine shop nearby where I was able to grab coffee and bakery items. A mini-market is also just a short walk away, where you can find essentials. All in all, I highly recommend this place. It’s about a 10-minute walk to Areni town center, which is safe and well-lit – you just follow the main roads. The Wi-Fi is fast too.

Areni Lodge has a fitness centre, garden, a private beach area and shared lounge in Areni. Boasting room service, this property also provides guests with a restaurant.

Very kind and friendly hosts. This was the cleanest and most comfortable property we stayed in Armenia. Very nice central location if you are travelling through Armenia, but also perfect for longer stays. We stayed here two times when travelling to Tatev and also on the way back.

Location is great with excellent views over the mountains. The pool was a good refresher after a long and dusty day. Nice restaurant and good breakfast.

Very welcoming family with great hospitality. We had a delicious dinner with wine and homemade vodka while their daughter was singing some Armenian and international songs. The rooms are also very nice and modern. Overall my favorite accomodation in Armenia and also Areni and Noravank were one of my favorite places to visit. Thank you for the great hospitality! :)
