Upon checking in at this lovely hotel, we were immediately struck by the pristine cleanliness of the rooms and the overall cozy atmosphere. The view from our window was simply breathtaking, adding a touch of charm to our entire stay. A small home hotel right in front of the Haghpat monastery. Great location, you can see the monastery from the balcony. Quiet, fresh air, tiny village on the mountain. The rooms are small and basic, but suitable for an overnight stay. A wonderful homemade dinner - the most delicious in our entire trip to Armenia. Very hospitable hostess. I highly recommend this place for lovers of a quiet authentic environment.

Most tourists come to Haghpat for just the monastery. Then they will miss this pearl. We had an excellent stay at Mary's guesthouse. She was very welcoming and made us feel at home. She made a very delicious and authentic dinner. The village and it's surroundings are beautiful to wander around by sunset.

If you want authentic local contact, a very nice stay! Very sympathic host, who can make you diner using their own garden harvest. Very affordable price to. Small village, still we had a hard time finding the accommodation. Highly recommended.
