Small hotel, but with excellent services, located in the medieval center of Melk. I liked everything: the comfortable room, the classic bathroom with a bathtub, many channels on TV; breakfast exceeded my expectations, being very varied, including omelette with ham; extremely friendly and solicitous staff. Do not miss a dinner at the restaurant on the ground floor, although it is quite difficult to find a free table in the evening, which says everything about the quality of the products and services.

A big room, clean and comfortable. Really nice stuff, very helpful and polite. A very good location, free parking and good breakfast. They arranged late check in procedures and were very responsive. Melk abbey was in a walking distance.

- the owner greeted us when we arrived and made a late warm goulash for us as we were hungry (we had a late check-in) + brought us a local strudel desert that is different from any other part of Austria and they were both very good - the receptionist and the owner invited us for a chat after the meal and we were treated with some drinks on the house (really good wine) while discussing about Viena and other european cities - the owner was really involved in making our stay as enjoyable as possible - the room was prepared in the smallest details, it was very clean. The bathroom is large. - There are nets on the windows, both in the rooms and in the bathroom. I rarely see this in hotel and is nice because there are no flee or mosquitos. - the beds were super comfortable and they had integrated massage in the mattresses. I've never seen that in a hotel, before, not even at 5 stars hotels. - the bed sheets were clean, high-quality and super comfortable. - we had 3 sets of pillows in different sizes (first hotel that I see this) and I loved that as I quite often struggle to find a pillow of my preference (either too small/too big/too soft etc) - free parking - we would stay again in this hotel.

    The hotel has a fantastic location and view. We have been lots of places but the breakfast here is outstanding. We loved the bathing lake and the garden around. As they were very flexible with check out i have time to make some gymnastic and swim afterwards at check out day as well. The kitchen is Gault &Millau recommended, it is worth to try. Do not miss the beach dumpling!

    The breakfast was excellent, and the view from both the terrace and the room of the Danube and the surrounding hills was wonderful. The hotel is in a wonderful location, just a 10-minute drive from Melk. It is extremely quiet, and the surrounding area is perfect for excursions, with castles, abbeys, and palaces. An ideal place for relaxation and cultural enrichment.
