The apartment was clean and very thoughtfully decorated. Irene is a super host and has put a lot of love in decorating the apartment. We were welcomed with sweets kept on the table. She even recommended the places to see in Annaberg and rearbybregion. We were so happy to find toys and books for the kids. Lots of tourist information brochures were kept in the apartment. There is a parking spot available, and the supermarket is 650 mtrs away. Nearby attractions are easily reachable by car. We would definitely love to visit again.

We were very pleased with our experience at this family hotel. The hotel and rooms were very clean, and the location is perfect for traveling by car. As a bonus, they offer discounts and free visits to a private lake. The hotel owners are ready to help with anything you need and can offer advice on how to spend your time in the area. Keep in mind that there is no fridge in the room, but you can ask to store anything you need in the hotel's fridge at the reception.

Boutique Hotel Alpenhof was just a wonderful place to spend our New Year's Eve vacation. The town, the people, the restaurants were all just wonderful. The restaurant at the Alpenhof was always so cozy and warm. You can tell that Peter and Annemarieke put in a lot of effort to make the place so welcoming to the guests. The breakfast every morning was so great. Annemarieke and Peter are excellent hosts. The details of the breakfast room and all around the hotel made our stay so special. Both of them took always the time to give us hints about the town and were just so wonderful to talk to every day. For New Year's Eve, they hosted a dinner and party and it was the best meal and party we have ever been to. All the guests connected and Peter and Annemarieke did such an awesome job with everything that night!

At the time of our trip, many gondolas and chairlifts were out of service, which wasn't ideal for hiking. The gondolas didn't start running until the following week. But it was still a lovely holiday. We went skiing and used the outdoor swimming pools.

Annaberg is a good and peaceful base for skiing in Dachtstein-West in winter, and hiking and mountain biking in summer. It's within driving distance of Salzburg, Hallstadt, Flachau, and several other well-known towns. Rentals for winter sports and mountain biking are available.

A quiet and relaxing place to enjoy various activities! The Dachstein West ski area is just a few minutes away by car. Cross-country ski trails are available right in the village when there is sufficient snow. Very friendly contact with the landlord, who is always happy to provide practical tips and up-to-date information!

I liked the cleanliness of the room, the friendliness of the owners. The location between Werfen and Hallstatt was ok. The room was a bit cramped, but it was manageable. It was a shame that there was no restaurant nearby, so we had to drive at least 4 km for dinner. We were probably unlucky with unempathetic neighbors who took the kettle to the room for the night, so we were without coffee and tea in the morning.
