The absolule highlight and very big surprise was the delicious food at their restaurant - we had dinner there every night, the portions were perfect, and the food truly delicious. The breakfasts were also amazing, lots of options. The staff is was SO nice, especially the restaurant/breakfast crew, and also the owner/manager is super friendly, accomodating and welcoming. They are dog friendly, we were allowed to bring them for dinner and breakfast! Lots of walking areas around the hotel for them as well. Location couldn't be better, just across the street from the bus stops that take you everywhere, and walking distance to the farm lands and little river paths which the dogs had an absolute blast!

Hotel in a great location close to city center. Wonderful staff. Spacious and clean rooms - very modern with guest comfort a priority. Wonderful breakfast with a beautiful view. BONUS!! Thai food in Austria! Markus is a great chef with a wonderful personality. This hotel is a hidden gem.

The apartment is new and beautiful, perfect view from the balcony, the kitchen is very comfortable the location of the hotel is great! the stuff are very friendly . the only thing that wasn't great is the mattress. it was not so comfortableת we will come back!!!

I was truly touched with how warm, welcoming and helpful the staff was. Everything was in perfect order, clear, accurate, convenient. When we told we needed to leave early in the morning for our mountain climbing, the staff offered to gather a lunchbox for us, so that we can have a snack during our hike. Food and drinks were exceptional and made us feel really good after our long day of mountain climbing.

We took a chance and showed up a little early to see if our rooms were ready because we drove through snow and rain to get there. One of the rooms was ready but ours was not so they upgraded our room to a suite for free which was very kind of him to do. Let me tell you, when I walked into that room and saw the view, I was more than pleased and super excited. We got settled in then meet up with family in the evening for food and drinks and it was all very good. Breakfast was fantastic as well. Everyone we encountered there was so nice and friendly I would definitely stay there again.

    The DE-ticket works between Ehrwald and Garmish, despite that Ehrwald is in Austria, so one can travel freely there. The Zugspitze, Sonnenspitze and other locations are reachable by train/bus/cable car from Ehrwald. The Seebensee is fantastic lake, one can get there by a bus+cable car and using and normal road or a bus and a rather difficult via ferrata. Also there is an indoor climbing (about 15m high) gym with 4 automatic belaying stations in Ehrwald, so one can climb even during bad weather conditions.

    Ehrwal is a nice village at the foot of Zugspitze.

    Ehrwal is a nice village at the foot of Zugspitze. There are a few hotels and restaurants as well as winter sport facilities. We were there in September and the meadows were green and the views nice after disipation of the morning fog.

    Lovely village in Austria.

    Lovely village in Austria. Lots of walking options, from easy to strenous, with stunning scenery of lakes and mountains. Cable cars giving easy access to the mountains. A Guest Card, given to tourists staying in local properties, allows use of regular local buses, which link the Cable Car stations. Also, a Z Card can be purchased to allow daily use of cable cars, including one trip to the Zugspitze. Some lovely restaurants in the village, and 2 supermarkets. Overall, a great holiday location.

    Ehrwald is fantastic! Small but charming. The perfect place for a ski trip !!!! Comfortable and clean, well organised. Conveniently situated near Munich airport, only 2h away it's easy to reach and find.

    A dream town for travellers searching for skiing, relaxing or just wandering along the country side. Amazing views, cozy town, great location very close to main hotspots in Tirol. Despite being small, it has everything needed for a day to day life: supermarkets, pharmacy, indorr swimming pool and spa, cable cars to the Zugspitze summit reachable on foot, a few restaurants...

    Lovely and beautiful place, but really bad transport system there. Maybe we were unlucky to had such negative experience with cancelled train and buses 10.06.22, so we had to take a taxi to Oberau to get a train to Munich.

    The facility seems to be newly refurbished to the finest details. My partner and I love the cozy luxury atmosphere of this boutique-style hotel. The food is healthy & super delicious, the cooking standard can reach a 5-star hotel without losing its "winter coziness" - Love the morning bubbles ;) Very nice and roomy spa facility, especially the Salzgrotte and the bio-sauna - exceeding my expectation Absolutely well-trained, attentive and courteous staff! High-five to the team!
