The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Our dinner at the restaurant was a great opportunity to experience the regional flavors, and everything was simply delicious. An amazing hotel, the service is great, the rooms are cozy, and the breakfast is delicious. It's a bit outside the city on some hill, so you better be with car or ready to walk a little bit to the nearest bus or s-bahn station, but it's worth every step, the view is just astonishing and the place is so quiet and picturesque.

Gentle Hide exceeded all my expectations! The breakfast was the best spread I’ve ever encountered, with fresh and delicious options that set the perfect tone for the day. The staff were truly exceptional. Andrea and Miriam at the front desk were the friendliest and always made sure we had everything we needed. Anastasia, who managed the buffet, was so sweet and ensured we were well taken care of every morning. Vivian, the owner, was incredible! We had a wonderful conversation about the history of the hotel, and she even shared some great recommendations for places to visit during our stay. The rooms were cozy and just the perfect size, offering both comfort and a snug, homey vibe. I also loved the sleek design of the hotel, which added a modern touch while keeping everything warm and inviting. The hotel’s location is super accessible, with everything just a stone’s throw away, making it incredibly convenient to explore the area. What made the experience even more special was the warm and homey atmosphere. Gentle Hide truly felt like a home away from home, with the perfect blend of comfort and charm. Me and my partner stayed at Romantikhotel over Christmas for a few days. Firstly, the views are absolutely stunning, set up in the mountains with gorgeous views over Salzburg. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff into the cosy bar area and checked in to a gorgeous room, the beds were SO comfortable, absolutely spotless and nice and warm. The food was outrageously good, in particular the steak tartare was the best I have ever had and we couldn’t fault the service, all wonderful and very relaxed and recommended us beautiful wines to drink. Our flight home ended up being delayed and the staff were absolutely wonderful and were very luckily able to let us stay an extra night. I’m so pleased we chose Romantikhotel to stay for Christmas, it was honestly stunning and can’t recommend it enough. 10/10 service, 10/10 food, and 10/10 room - would 100% stay again. If you love your walking and hiking there are also plenty of walking trails to do from the hotel, and the staff were all so helpful with providing us maps and explaining the easy bus timetable to get into Salzburg to explore the city (or you can walk approx 1.5hours to get into the city). Thankyou all SO much for making our Christmas so perfect, we will be back!

A wonderful hotel with a great location, 10 minutes by car to Salzburg, 20 minutes to the lakes. Everything is of the best quality. Very friendly and caring staff. If you need something, ask and you will receive it immediately. Very clean rooms, we had air conditioning, a refrigerator, varied and tasty breakfast. In the lobby free coffee, tea, hot chocolate, etc. at any time. Also in the lobby there is a refrigerator with alcoholic and soft drinks at a very reasonable price. Sauna, bike rental. We got free car charging.
