The hotel is new, and it shows everywhere from the restaurant and bar downstairs to the hallways leading to the rooms and the rooms and suits everything smells and feels new and crisp. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful with any requests we made, so the level of customer service and hospitality is at par with a hotel of this rating. Also, kudos to the cleaning staff who did an amazing good of turning the room back to its neat original condition every day and the level of detail in doing their job. The location is very central 10 min walk to the commercial district with all the shops and cafes and museums. The suite we stayed at was clean, spacious, with a mini bar and fridge full of complementary goodies. The bathroom had all the amenities you would expect. The breakfast was really good with a good selection of cold spreads, salads, yogourts, breads, and an egg station for your favourite egg style with an extensive bar for drinks including fresh juieces and champagne for those who would like to start the day on a higher note :)

An amazing hotel, the service is great, the rooms are cozy, and the breakfast is delicious. It's a bit outside the city on some hill, so you better be with car or ready to walk a little bit to the nearest bus or s-bahn station, but it's worth every step, the view is just astonishing and the place is so quiet and picturesque.

Super location! Only one minute walk from central square of cathedral. Unlike the expectation for the old hotel in Europe, all equipments are new and functional including sufficient hot water from shower and bath tab even on the top floor. Elixhausen is a small village, connected by bus (or by taxi) to the nearby city of Salzburg around 20 minutes away. It's got a couple of nice restaurants, including one serving traditional Austrian food and is surrounded by beautiful countryside.

The accommodation was spacious and clean. There was a lot of equipment in the kitchen. The owners were accommodating, and in view of the bad weather, they offered us a free extension of our stay by one day, which unfortunately we could not use.

The breakfast buffet was gigantic and varied. The Horizont spa was fantastic, clean, and offered a wide range of treatments. The indoor pool had a magnificent view. Everything was top-notch and very well-maintained. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The rooms were lovely, and the restaurant had a good menu with a diverse selection. We were very pleasantly surprised and will definitely return.

It's a small village just a few kilometers from Salzburg, offering a peaceful stay surrounded by nature, just 10-15 minutes from Salzburg city center. At Solide Alm, an easily accessible restaurant/brewery, we found excellent traditional dishes and friendly, efficient service in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

We stayed at the hotel and were able to relax completely. The staff and owners are very friendly. The food at the hotel is excellent; you shouldn't eat out. The proximity to Salzburg is fantastic. This beautiful city is only 4 km away.

We’ve stayed here twice already and really love the location—peaceful countryside setting. The hotel has a cozy, home-like feel, with a perfect breakfast and a wide variety of dishes available for dinner.
