Amazing place! The view of the mountains and the Danube is gorgeous, clean mountain air and the smell of meadow grass! The room is very clean, there is everything you need for a comfortable stay. Very nice and friendly hostess. Thank you very much for a comfortable stay!

We also stayed overnight at Holmes Cafe and Pension the weekend before and we were glad we had made a second booking. Our hosts were so welcoming, kind and helpful. We had lovely evening meals and excellent breakfasts the next morning. Our room was warm and comfortable and we had a good rest after a long journey. Another guest there during our stay was a returning visitor and we hope to return in the future.

Fabulous location on the river, gloriously quiet part of it, even in summer, and really nice hotel. It’s not luxury old skool feel, it’s nice standard modern feel. One of the nicest locations I’ve ever stayed.

    Hotel location was right on the river - if you have a front room you will have river views. Our family room was spacious and very comfortable. Payment for hotel things could be done with (cash) card. Friendly and helpful staff Note that the restaurant is cash only - there are ATM's at the nearby banks...
