    I love the little town. Lovely square.

    I love the little town. Lovely square. Nice walk around the like. If you love hiking the place to visit. So much to do. Easy access. People were very nice and helpful. I didn't have a great weather but as they say it's not bad weather but wrong clothes 😆.

    It’s a lovely town with access to the lake and a local rail/tram network. Various cultural activities and we timed it nicely for the annual ceramics fair. We used it as a base from which to travel to visit friends locally but it was relaxing and a lovely stay.

    Gmunden is an amazing undiscovered place which deserves a larger tourist crowd than it currently has. It is the best place to stay in Salzkammergut as it allows easy access to all attractions in the region, but still this is a town and not a village.

    Pretty little town on the lake, with a couple of excellent restaurants nearby serving local cuisine mostly. Lots to see, lovely walks, hikes and drives. One glaring problem they need to address ASAP. Gmunden lacks a decent 4/5 star hotel. There are a couple which are adequate 3 stars.

    Quaint lake town. Highly recommend a short overnight trip. Enjoy dinner at Hackall restaurant. Amazing pizza. But make reservations. Take an electric boat for an affordable lake experience. Apartment accommodations were great

    Very nice city with a breathtaking view with a castle on the lake and high hills covered in clouds. The lake is crystal clear, so perfect for swimming, or sailing. There are ferrys that can take you to other parts of the lake. Just an absolutely gorgeous and clean city with very welcoming people. Many art galleries and all sorts of exhibitions. We also reccomend Hotel Zum Goldenen Hirschen in the city centre with a luxury design and very nice staff.

    Gmunden is superb and has so much to offer Very friendly owner welcomed us to the apartment and offered assistance as required, felt supported perfectly located stunning apartment extremely clean and spacious with gorgeous views from every window on the top level lounge dining kitchen area kitchen well equipped and a delight to be in beds with high quality linens and extra pillows and duvets in cupboard located in a very central beautiful location next to the church

    I only stayed one night at the hotel but everything was great. I was warmly welcomed at the check-in, the process was easy and smooth and i received all the information i needed. The room was spacious and clean and most importantly very quiet. Breakfast was fantastic, not too big but with great quality and just what i needed. Next visit in Gmunden i will definitely stay in this hotel.

    The apartment is right in the heart of Gmunden—just a short walk to the beach and close to plenty of restaurants. It had everything we needed and was super clean and well-kept. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily book this place again next time.
