The Blaue Rose is a high-quality, moderately priced hotel in the heart of the Alps. It is also brand new and run by a gentleman I have never met who showed me more care as a guest than I have received at 99 percent of the hotels I have booked in Europe over the past 45 years. The room perfectly fit my needs. The bed was comfortable, the bedding crisp, the shower, brand new, the silence outside was welcome (zero traffic noise), Feldkirch train station is within walking walking distance, and the path led through an idyllic Austrian mountain town, The design of the room was superior to the trendy and expensive boutique hotels I've stayed in in Manhattan, Berlin, and other cities. One judges the caring attitude of a hotel and its ownership and staff when things go wrong. I was very tired when I arrived and initially had a difficult time with the outsourced self-check in system and reported the issue. The hotel owner was so concerned with my problem that he thanked me for my comments, apologized profusely, and immediately upgraded the entire system to prevent future guests, including myself, from having to deal with similar issues. I visited Blaue Rose as an overnight before attending a meeting in Davos. I was happy to have had a place of serenity and a good night's sleep before dealing with the World Forum crowd. I will make a habit of visiting the Blaue Rose as a stop over between Vienna and Zug, Zurich, and other towns and cities of Switzerland.

We liked the location very much with an easy access to a lovely town. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was welcoming and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a wide range of fresh produce. A garage was close by with easy access to the hotel.

A small, manageable town with good infrastructure - supermarkets, post office, pharmacy, bakeries - everything you need is there - thanks to the motorway connection, you can quickly get anywhere you want to go - we like a somewhat quieter place!

A charming little village with everything you need.

A charming little village with everything you need. Two great supermarkets, three bakeries, a pharmacy, a wonderful inn, a pizzeria, a swimming pool, a centrally located train station, motorway access, the Nenzinger Himmel (a popular destination for day trips), Alpe Gamp, Gurtisspitze, and numerous hiking trails. If you appreciate peace and quality, this is the perfect place for you.

We cooked our own meals, which was fine. All the necessary pans and cookware were provided, and even a good oven. No dishwasher. The roads were good. We didn't try public transport; we had our own. The surroundings are beautiful.

Nice guesthouse in Nenzing, perfect base to explore Voralberg - you are in the train station in 10-15 minutes and from Nenzing station you can easily reach a lot of places in Austria and beyond the border in Germany, Liechtenstein and Switzerland. The staff was nice, they provided all necessary information in advance. The restaurant in the guesthouse was also very nice, just check their opening times in advance as they are not open every day.

A really lovely dog friendly hotel. It was an overnight stop for us but we could have happily stayed longer. Renovations are underway but they didn’t detract from our stay. Our room was a large modern apartment - so loads of room. We dined in - great value and the dining room had loads of character. We had a lovely breakfast. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. Parking was free and just by the hotel.

Our room was clean and comfortable and the view from the windows was lovely (we were on the 3rd floor). Staff were very friendly and helpful and we had a lovely stay. Nenzing is a great place from which to walk up into the mountains, there are many tracks and we enjoyed a day walking to Kapelle Kuhbruck, the scenery was amazing.

Super friendly staff - in particular on arrival. Mad me feel absolutely at home and that I'd made the right choice of hotel. The room was very large, lovely decoration, very clean. VERY nice! The bathroom was also very large, super clean - it was like being in a really high standard hotel! Parking less than 1 minute away.
