We loved the quality of material used in building the apartments. The balcony of our one bedroom apartment was facing a very picturesque landscape. The experience of seeing the farm animals and how the farm was managed was very nice. We ordered farm produce (Milk, eggs etc) and they were of highest quality too. Not to forget, the host was very sweet, caring and friendly with a great personality : ) .. We look forward to visit the place again.

The breakfast was excellent start to the ski day. A short bus ride to the slopes. The host at the property was very helpful and friendly. I would return as soon as I can. Really enjoyed skiing with my family. Everyone very friendly. A bar and drinks available to buy if required. Lovely walk into a friendly picturesque village. Local shop if required. Great location.

This hotel was the perfect stop on our to (and from) the Italian Dolomites. Do not trust your car (or any other) GPS on time and distances - the highways to and from Munich and into Italy are crazy busy and you will want to break your journey in two. I can think of no better place on your way as feels like you are already in the mountains and on holiday. The staff are wonderful, food is great and it is very quiet. What more could you ask for!

Close to the large area of SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser, but beautiful slopes also in the place itself - especially the "black" slope is absolutely breathtaking. And much better prepared than those in SkiWelt👍

It's beautiful up there, with unique views and peace and...

It's beautiful up there, with unique views and peace and quiet. All you hear are cowbells and the babbling brook. However, you should bring everything you need with you and do your shopping beforehand, as driving down and back up every day is long and rocky, and it puts a lot of strain on the car.

Small but perfectly formed.

Small but perfectly formed. "Only" two mountain lifts, which are free for guests of many accommodations. A classic hiking area where nature itself is the main attraction. With small children, I would recommend the Wilder Kaiser or Fiss/Ladis/Serfaus regions; those seeking a peaceful hike will find Wildschönau ideal. Charming mountain huts.

We have been to this destination before, but in the summer.

We have been to this destination before, but in the summer. The accommodation included a local card, but for a longer stay in this area it is much better to use the card in the Ellmau area and surroundings, which includes about 40 cable cars, etc. For a shorter stay, a local card for 4 cable cars is sufficient.
