All fine and super; exceeding expectations. We had the diner option (btw, I'd recommend) and breakfast and both were delicious. Staff was friendly. Hotel has a great location, near the centre and the train station.

Thank to the owner for really great staying. Not only us - adults but also teenagers :) loved it there - and that means a lot :). The owner is really kind person and the place is clean, new, spacefull, great bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and balcony with lovely view. We enjoyed hiking and climbing nearby.

There was enough parking places right in front of the building. The owner was very friendly and pollite. We get the best room available (or I believe so), it was spacy, clean, new and modern. The bed was comfortable, neighbourhood was quiet. The dinner at the restaurant was tasty and breakfast was very good (refilled during the breakfast time).

It is farther inside the woods than I thought, getting there is a bit adventurous but we got there and it is a nice place altogether. Great start for hiking.

    The main attraction is the nearest mountain, Schneeberg.

    The main attraction is the nearest mountain, Schneeberg. There is a hiking pass and a special train in summer. The hike is fantastic! Best fitness you can have and a great view (if the weather is not too bad).

    Puchberg is a beautiful little town with the Scneeberg scenery. Very good restaurants and bars waiting for the customers. Nice and friendly people everywhere. Only one homeless spotted... :D Unfortunately the Salamandra train is not working in winter.

    I think visiting Puchberg am Schneeberg would be perfect as...

    I think visiting Puchberg am Schneeberg would be perfect as a day trip from Vienna - especially if you only go to hike the Schneeberg. Staying the night in Puchberg is advised, if you would like to wake up to the view of mountains :) Or watch the starry sky ;) Nothing is open in the evening, so if you descend the mountain late (as we did, since we missed the last Salamander train), there is nowhere to get food. Only one place is open, but they serve nothing but drinks by that time. By about 8.30 pm (in September) the entire village was dark and quiet. Very unusual and eerie, if you've been staying in capital cities before that :P

    The location is amazing at the foot of the mountains so beautiful views all around. The hotel was great, food and comfort and all. We used the spa which was a great way to relax. The hotel lent us some bicycles to cycle around which was good fun. Most of all the staff were exceptional. they greeted us very kindly and were so nice and helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate us. It was truly an amazing experience. Thank you ☺️

    The apartments is beautifully furnished and really well equipped - the electric grill is an added bonus! The site is really lovely, in a quiet, beautiful area with views on the lake and hills all around. The location is great, close to hiking paths as well as a 10 minute drive to Puchberg am Schneeberg. The restaurant offers some local delicacies (note that only open Thu - Sun).

    The breakfast was excellent, nicely prepared and enough dishes to choose from. The location is excellent, just a few steps away from the center of the town and the famous cog railway. The hotel is in an idyllic setting surrounded by beautiful nature. Also a commendable parking garage with enough space.

    We spent a weekend here and we loved the place. The owner is super friendly and it made us feel at home. Rooms are large, very comfortable and clean. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and the food was excellent. We will come back next time we visit.

    Great location, many hiking routes nearby. Quiet area to stay. In front of the hotel there is a beautiful park - little lakes, and fun park for kids. The restaurant is very good, the fish was delicious! Staff was very nice, kind.
