Fabulous place, cannot recommend enough! The room was very clean and spacious, the hosts were fantastic (kind and polite). The neighbourhood is very quiet. The outdoor area looks super cozy - we would have loved to be able to spend more time there.

A lovely little place with a beautiful garden, located directly on the bike path and within walking distance of the wine cellars. The rooms are very nicely furnished. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Parking is available on the public street in front of the house, and bicycles can be stored in the garage.

The cellar lane was worth seeing, but unfortunately there was no food available after 9 pm. "Gut Purbach" offers terrible value for money; calling it a "rip-off" would be an understatement!

The historic town center with its wine cellars offering...

The historic town center with its wine cellars offering refreshments is unique. Purbach provides shopping and dining options, including organic and vegan food. The immediate surroundings offer ample opportunities for hiking and excursions. The town is also very well-suited for cyclists. With the Burgenland Card, many attractions are free or discounted.

Purbach is a great starting point for bike tours.

Purbach is a great starting point for bike tours. You can cycle not only around Lake Neusiedl, but in all directions. We were there at the beginning of May, and the town wasn't crowded. There's a good bakery in the center, and a supermarket at either end of town. If you want to go swimming in the summer, you can cycle out to Purbach beach.
