Lovely warm welcome from the owner and he told us that there was a pool as well. You can ask for the sauna but we didn’t want it. Great breakfast and tea available whenever I wanted it. Also biker friendly. Close enough for the attractions at Gosau but a better price

I had the pleasure of staying at a peaceful hilltop apartment that exceeded all expectations. The apartment provided a serene and relaxing atmosphere, far away from the noise of busy roads. It was thoughtfully equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay, making it an ideal choice for families, especially those with children. The true highlight of the apartment were the two balconies, offering awe-inspiring views of the surrounding landscapes. Waking up to such natural beauty was truly remarkable, creating a sense of calm and providing the perfect backdrop for memorable moments spent with loved ones. What made the experience even more memorable was the warm hospitality of the owners. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and went out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Their genuine care and assistance, including helping us with sending postcards, added a personal touch that made us feel valued and appreciated. I highly recommend this tranquil retreat to anyone in search of a peaceful getaway. From the well-equipped apartment to the breathtaking balcony views, it truly exceeded expectations. We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed—the friendly staff even greeted us with a glass of prosecco, which was a lovely touch. The food was absolutely exquisite. Both breakfast and dinner were of extremely high quality, with rich and varied options that delighted us every day. Every meal felt like a special experience. The wellness area was another highlight. We loved spending time at the pool and sauna, and the beautifully maintained garden offered a peaceful retreat to relax and unwind. Our room was spacious, tastefully furnished, and very comfortable. We slept exceptionally well throughout our stay, which made a big difference. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. We would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and high-quality getaway.

If you ever find yourself in the area please do yourself a favor and book a room into this amazing place! The guesthouse is outstandigly beautiful the rooms are extra clean and spacious the views to the surrounding nature are to die for and the food is delicious. On top of that each and every member of the staff is very kind helpful and warm hearted people. Special mention to Dominik that welcomed us and made us feel at home. We cannot recommend this place enough! Its one of the best travel experiences we ever had!

    Recommendation: For kids - Geister Wald (Ghost forest) - 4,5km long hike with fun activities for kids. Our kids loved them. Just to be aware - you need to pick up from the info center a map where kids could get stamps and also you need 2euro coin to get a wooden ball from the machine you can find just at the start of the hike. Small store - very helpful staff, all the basics you need you find there Waterpark - great nature pool to chill with kids

    This is lovely village in both winter and summer.

    This is lovely village in both winter and summer. Beautifully unspoilt by no big touring companies taking over, and the tourist accomodation is predominantly private. It has its own lift into the Dachstein West area, and in the summer there are a multitude of hiking paths to follow.

    Little village with only few little shops, neareast...

    Little village with only few little shops, neareast supermarket 6km away in Gosau. Crosscountry slopes not in site, you have to get to Gosau or Abtenau (12km away). Good site for downhill skiing and for summer hiking.

    Hotel is located very close to hiking trails which are reachable directly by walking or by car. We liked, that we had possibility to use sauna every day even it was hot summer. We also liked the size of the room, our bed was also very comfortable. We also liked, that we could visiting during our stay for free natural swimming pool, which is 3min walking distance from the hotel.

    The location was fine in terms of its distance from Hallstatt. There are also good restaurants within walking distance, apart from the hotel's restaurant (note: the hotel restaurant closes at 7pm, in the peak of summer). Parking is also available and convenient. The hotel staff member we spoke to was very friendly and professional.
