Everything The chalet was perfect for a family, it has everything you need. It was warm, comfortable and cosy. I liked the coffee machine and the Marshall Action III Bluetooth home speaker. The restaurant was authentic and the food was delicious and perfect. We liked that there were a set menu for dinner and not a buffet. Very convenient shuttle service to the cable car gondola.

This is an amaxing hotel that is more on luxury end. We got an upgrade upon arrival and we could really enjoy our apartment to the fullest. We had plenty of space. This place allows you to relive your Austrian luxury ski trip fantasy and it is all you could think of. The hotel is very cozy, beautiful and extremely comfortable. I can recommend ot to people who are ok with higher prices and are looking for luxury options.

The apartment was only a couple of minutes from the next lift and had a supermarket right next door. The price was completely fair and it was very clean! Overall we liked it a lot.

    Nice, quiet location, but after the dinner time there is no program in the village at all. The guest card is valid for busses which provide transfer among the important places. You could get discount for renting a bike or use the lifts, but it is around 10% only.

    The village itself is small compared to surrounding resorts...

    The village itself is small compared to surrounding resorts such as Soll. It is peaceful and quiet l, mainly consists of high end hotels, with guests staying in on the evenings and using the facilities of the individual properties. Its a very quiet resort even when I visited at peak season. There is no bars/pubs and only 1 restaurant and a small supermarket. It is fairly spread out but there is free shuttle bus to and from the gondela. There is also frequent service to Soll where there is many more options for eating and entertainment but the last bus is about 19.00. The village has walking trails running through it and up into the mountains, and there is a beautiful lake a short distance away. The ski area itself isn't the highest but had plenty of snow when I visited. Definitely enough of an area to explore in a week's trip. Beautiful area I would recommend this resort if you like a quiet relaxing holiday.

    Scheffau is a beautiful village, located 1 km above the Main Street. You can reach it via train or plane plus taxi or car rental. You might not need your own car during your ski holiday. Ski Busses bring you to the cable car station. Hotel Alpin offers full board, if you like.

    We came to Scheffau to ski and in this apartment we found everything that we needed for 5 days of skiing. It is really spacious with 2 bedrooms, huge bathroom and a small kitchen combined with dining room. Nice terrace that must be really lovely to use in spring and summer. The apartment is situated in a lovely, peaceful area in upper Scheffau- to get to the shop you need a car. To Skiwelt area you can easily get by ski bus. The host- Andreas is very nice and helpful. We can definitely recommend this spot!

    Nice location, close to public transport to all important places around. Local buses are free with a visitor card. All nearby mountains (except for the Wilder Kaiser, of course) are reachable with funicular. The place and around is known from the series Der Bergdoktor and there are theme path related to the filming locations. p.s. If you forgotten something, there is a petrol station nearby with 24/7 shop :-)

    The buffet in the afternoon was a positive surprise, it was a limited selection of foods, but it was good enough for us. The hotel is located in a quiet village, but by car or by bike you can visit all the important places.
