The hotel was exceptional! The rooms may be basic, but they are equipped with everything you need, clean, and very well-maintained. The staff was always friendly and ready to assist with anything. The spa was an amazing experience – of very high quality, spacious, clean, and relaxing. It was clear that the hotel paid attention to every small detail to ensure a perfect experience. It's worth noting that the spa is nude-only, which might be unfamiliar to some, but once you get over the initial hesitation, it’s an unforgettable experience. The breakfast was delicious and varied, and the staff was courteous and welcoming. An excellent experience all around – we’ll definitely be back!

Excellent, new hotel, within walking distance of the Planai west cable car and the center of Schladming. The wellness area has 3 saunas and a relaxation room. The breakfast is full of various organic products, there is a juicer with a large selection of vegetables and fruits. After check-out, you can store your belongings in the ski room and spend the whole day on the slopes.

The hotel is well located, just 3-5 minute walk from the Planai Gondola, and 5-10 minutes from center and shops. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, very clean. Ski depot room is available. All rooms, especially the breakfast room, are very nicely decorated. Breakfast was delicious, fresh eggs are prepared for each guest. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel also features a mini spa with a Finnish sauna and an infrared sauna. Parking is also available just in front of the hotel. We really enjoyed staying here for our skiing holiday.

    We didn't eat out much as accomodation had a very well...

    We didn't eat out much as accomodation had a very well equipped kitchen. Public transport was punctual and free with a Sommer Card provided by our hosts. All lift passes that we used were free also. The only cost was a booking fee for getting up to the Schladming Galcier. (PREPARE TO QUE FOR THIS ONE). Be aware that shops are closed for religious holidays etc.

    Schladming is not interesting place, but the surroundings - yes. You can find a lot of attractions like ferrara, wander wegs, cycle routes, even rafting and places obligatory to visit: Dachstein Glacier, Planai, Reiter Alm (all supported by lifts). There are some places from the category "must see" like Riesach waterfall or Silberkar Gorge.

    I enjoyed the area but it was hard to find information about...

    I enjoyed the area but it was hard to find information about ski schools or guides online. We had some beginners with us and they were unable to ski the icier slopes at the bottom of the hill. I would have signed up for a guide/instructor for them if I was able to get more information. Also need more non ski activities in the area. We went to the Dachstein Glacier area and it was stunning!

    A wonderful family resort in the east of the alps.

    A wonderful family resort in the east of the alps. Great for beginners. Lots of blue & red runs. Great night time sledging. Loads of restaurants on the mountains with very friendly service. Big portions but not cheap but then ahow me a skiing resort that is. Much cheaper than france and Switzerland and italy.

    Ski area consist of 4 hills to 1.800m, so everyone can find the slope which is fitting to him. On the hills, there was a pretty lot of restaurants or bars. There was a free parking place to leave a care in and drive with the lift directly to the entrance. When parking outside, you can put your skies on and by the snow go directly to the entrance to buy a tickets. Parking place was on asphalt so no dirt. The Schladming city is small but you can find there a restaurant for a quick dinner.

    Accommodation in great location for skiing & close to ski slopes (providing sufficient snow), however in quiet area & a good walk into the resort centre or a bus journey. Schladming is a quieter resort to most ski resorts we have been to. Our host was very friendly & helpful, unfortunately no-one was available on arrival to show us to our accommodation, fortunately we had a contact number from our booking details, a quick phone call & we were guided to our apartment which was open & keys indoors.

    The staff was extremely nice, friendly and helpful. The breakfast had perfectly adequate selection and the dinner was 3 courses optional with very delicious meals. The location of the hotel is perfect. The skibus stops just in front of the hotel. The sauna has a window looking on the mountains.
