We have arrived late in the evening and although a misunderstanding was made on room reservation, reception staff was very helpful in sorting out the problem. We switched the room the next day and everything was excellent. The hotel is quite new, with very nice and large and comfortable rooms. We have an infrared cabin in our room that we used every day after being on the ski slopes. We did travel with a small dog and staff was very friendly and helpful to accommodate the pet and daily room housekeeping. Breakfast was tasty, with a good selection for all tastes. Hotel has Venetia Restaurant on ground floor, which was very convenient for dinning out or order some pizza if too tired after a day of skiing. Free parking on location

The Austrian Alps are a beautiful place, we would like to come back here again. Schlitters is a beautiful picturesque town, we were surprised by what a beautiful large waterfall hidden in the forest there is. It is a short distance to Achensee, beautiful water for swimming. It is worth going around it (someone can do 25 km).

Schlitters is a lovely little village with everything you need for a pleasant stay. You can eat well there, and there are shops nearby, including a supermarket and several souvenir shops. There are also excellent restaurants and a lovely café for a good cappuccino.

The village of Schlitters is located right at the entrance to the Zillertal valley. It's an excellent base for day trips further into the valley or to destinations like Lake Aachen. A day trip to Germany is also an option.

Schlitters isn't a particularly special location.

Schlitters isn't a particularly special location. There are few amenities. But it's strategically located, offering easy access to all directions from this village. Further into the Zillertal Valley, or even towards Innsbruck or Achental. It's an excellent base for car owners.

We went through the entire valley, partly by bike.

We went through the entire valley, partly by bike. The cycle paths are well marked. We liked Gerlos the most. From the restaurant by the cable car there is a stunning view of the snow-capped mountain peaks. There are 3 bus stops and a train stop in the town. We used the bus as much as possible. The train runs approximately every 30 minutes.

A great hotel, modern, clean and very functional. Location was good, you'll need a car to get around the area or you can catch the train as the train station is very conveniently at your doorstep. Facilities are quite new and good communication from the hosts. Everything you need to know about your apartment / hotel is in an information pack which you receive prior to arriving. I would recommend staying here

great place for winter holidays. most lively hotel in whole Schlitters. quite close to multiple. we have enjoyed the pub, food in restaurant is great, staff in kitchen very nice. rooms warm and comfortable - really you can’t expect more from winter hotel
