The hotel was easy to find--centrally located on the main road. Our room was modern, clean, and comfortable. The air conditioning actually worked, I was so thrilled (the other hotels on our trip had advertised air conditioning that didn't really work after all)!! The AC was fully adjustable in our room, so I sat there on the bed like a penguin that sits under the snow machine in the exhibit at the zoo; it was heaven. The breakfast was SO GOOD. Americans, this place had the crispiest bacon I have ever seen on the European continent. On our way to and from our room, we passed through a game room with foosball and pool tables, so naturally I challenged my husband to a game of pool (I won). There was on-site parking, and the connecting restaurant was also fantastic--we had dinner there. Our room also had a balcony which was nice. When we mentioned to the front desk upon checkout that we were going to the lake on our way out of town, they gave us a coupon so we wouldn't have to pay to go to the public beach.

We stayed here for 11 days, and it was a wonderful decision! The host is super nice and helpful. I once asked her if she knows if there is snow on Mölltaler Gletscher, she called them to ask in German and and gave us more useful information location is great - near main roads but quite. A restaurant & supermarket within a walking distance The apartment is huge with excellent facilities such as washing machine, dryer, dish washer & well equipped kitchen

Our stay at Burg VIEW Apartment was excellent, we were greeted by a friendly and helpful host. Every detail in the apartment is carefully selected, so that the stay is not only comfortable but also pleasing to the eyes. The most beautiful is the view from the terrace / through the panoramic windows of the dreamy valley. We rested our eyes and spirit. Highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay! The place had all the necessary appliances and was clean and well-maintained. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout, even meeting us in person despite us arriving a few hours late for check-in which we really appreciated. The surroundings were peaceful and beautiful, and the location next to a horse stable made it a truly unique experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet and charming getaway!

The apartment is in a great location for hiking.

The apartment is in a great location for hiking. The Kanzelhöhe mid-station is easily accessible on foot. The apartment itself is very nicely furnished. You feel right at home, and nothing stands in the way of a perfect hiking holiday.

I recommend it to all active skiers, the Gerlitzen ski area is suitable for more demanding skiers and beginners, there are enough restaurants. The town of Treffen is near the Kanzelsberg starting station - there are plenty of parking spaces. There are Spar and Lidl near the Kuchlerwirt hotel - shopping options.

Treffen is quite close to the ski area, but you have to drive there. As a small town, it has nothing to offer visitors, apart from a hotel, a church and a mini bank, there is really nothing interesting here, but there is beautiful nature all around, mountains rise directly above the town and the breathtaking Ossiacher See lake is nearby.

Relatively small village, scattered settlement with several hamlets, very clean, infrastructure somewhat weakened by the proximity of large supermarkets and the shopping city of Villach, good excursion opportunities in all directions, gastronomy could be more regionally specific, good connection to the motorways

Ideal location for those who want to avoid the hustle and bustle of Lake Ossiach without being too far from the lake. For mountain enthusiasts, the toll road to the apartment took 20 minutes each way. This toll road was only available once a day.

The hotel is next to the main road in Treffen but traffic noise was no problem. My room was very spacious but the bathroom was a bit tight compare to the room size. There was an alarm going off during my check-in time but this was for the fireworker because a big thunderstorm arrived in the evening. I had some local food & beer for dinner and both was very tasty. Staff was very friendls and breakfast was also nice even if I had to leave early.

Nice hotel. Location is good for skiing, there is ski bus driving to Gerlitzen. I like how hotel is equiped. Nice big room for games, with two biliar pools and one table football and many family games. There is also a big room with desks where you can work on your laptop or papers. Gym is big and really good equiped. Breakfast is nice. Rooms are clean, bathroom big and good.
