The staff made us feel very welcome. Welcome drink on arrival, offered to dry any wet clothes. Family run accommodation, Ernest is very passionate about his hotel. Food was exceptional being cooked by him and served by his wife. Best place we have stayed so far in Austria, thank you.

- location is super, middle of the hills with nice view by main street with asphalt - parking for free in front of garage (that's why I didn't choose to stay in a city, there you pay parking) - Owners are nice and didn't wasted guests time, here are the keys, the rooms, fill up the formular and that's it - Fridge is packed with basic drinks (with a cost) - same the coffee, just have some coins prepared - spacious room and kitchen and bathroom. - terrace is open space and owners have separate entrance + terrace - you have privacy - some store is nearby by car I totally recommend it!

We spent here only one night as a sleepover on a long drive, but I can imagine this place to be great for longer stops too. The apartment was very comfortable, and HUGE. Very good value for money. The host was also very friendly and helpful. Some of the facilities were not in an ideal condition (e.g. the coffee machine, or the slight unpleasant odor in the bathroom), but overall we had a fantastic experience. We would not hesitate to stop here again in the future.

Although the hotel had a private function on, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome- making sure we had food, etc. The room was quiet and cosy.

Fourth generation owner greeted us with chilled drinks and an open garage for our bicycles. Stunning level of hospitality for a small family run Hotel. Sounds really pedestrian, but Ernst immediately offered us the use of the washing machine and an airer in the sunshine to ‘make sure we were all set for the final two weeks of our cycle tour’… Above and beyond, beautiful, old-fashioned hospitality. Ernst went a step further and made gluten-free versions of regional specialty foods, which were fabulous!

Lively tranquil setting. Terrace restaurant area was beautiful. Didn't eat there but the menu and food looked good. Room was small but neatly and efficiently fitted out. En-suite was good. Breakfast was very nice. Wallsee is a nice little spot with some good eating options, a good bakery and a spectacular castle

A warm, friendly welcome. Enjoyed the delicious refreshing Perry (cider) on arrival. Loved the location in the centre of pretty Wallsee with its beautiful historic buildings. The room was basic and very comfortable. The homemade food from local produce prepared by the owner was delicious. A perfect stay.

Wallsee is a lovely little town on a hill above the Danube. Nothing to criticise about the hotel - clean accommodation, helpful staff, excellent food in the restaurant. Good breakfast, each table had its own "buffet". We were very pleasantly surprised.
