The hotel was very traditional in appearance. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a very nice terrace for evening meals. The Sunday breakfast was absolutely brilliant and a very special treat. The room was spacious and comfortable.

No stairs, wheel-chair frendly. There was life concert of a cover rock band. Breakfast Made the Deal. It was perfect for me: it included fresh strawberries. The coffee was descent. Fresh bread. The other things, like you expect.

Nice, clean and cosy apartment conveniently located in a small town of Wals, not far from the highway to/from Salzburg,. We were two adults, two kids and a dog, and we had plenty of space for everyone. The owners were very friendly and helped with the info on how to locate the apartment and the parking during a late night check-in.

    It is a residential town so not much atmosphere or amenities...

    It is a residential town so not much atmosphere or amenities other than hotels. It suited us very well as it was very peaceful. Driving or taxi into Salzburg is the best option. Otherwise a bus or taxi to an out of town shopping centre plus a bus from there. We parked out the out of town shopping centre for dinner and got a parking ticket. It was not well advertised that we should have paid for parking. Nothing to do with the hotel but be warned!

    the staff is amazing

    the staff is amazing To things are subjects for improvement First 1.enrich the breakfast 2.There is no refrigerator and safe in the rooms, in my opinion this is a big drawback, a hotel with excellent service like the Kammel needs a safe and a refrigerator in the room for the comfort of the guests

    The hotel was beautiful and very clean. The decor is modern. The rooms are spacious, great bathrooms with towels and dressing gowns for your use. The beds and pillows are soft and comfortable, although the foam mattresses became quite warm overnight. The continental breakfast selection was generous with scrambled eggs and bacon available also. The pool and wellness area was beautifully kept and not too busy, we had the pool completely to ourselves for the majority of the time we used it (in August).
