The house was of the typical alpine-style you probably expect anyway. Furnished very well and with a fine artistic touch in its interior. Views are spectacular. Kitchen is complete and very well equipped. (the only thing missing were scissors :). Wardrobes are comfortable. This place provides all commodities needed for a long stay.

Location is perfect, in a quiet area; 5 minutes walk from the main square and a beautiful little lake where you can swim or take the sun. Owner extremely kind and helpful. Upon request to the owner you can order the fresh bread for your breakfast. Reccomended!

The whole experience was great. The hotel has a nice, cosy atmosphere all around, the food was good, varying every day and the staff were really helpful. The location is excellent, especially for beginners as one of the skiing schools is just across the street. We were there during a lower peak period so it was not crowded at all which was great. Definitely considering staying here again in the future.

A quiet and secluded place, lovely for hiking and views. I guess in winter it is good for skiing, we went in September and stayed for 2 nights, which seemed just right, as there are not that many options for bars and restaurants in the village.

Werfenweng is a very small, remote village with only a small pizzeria and several hotels (there's a large construction site right in the middle), but it does have a nice market square and an event stage. However, it's very scenically situated with two mountain railways.

Quiet location with beautiful mountain views, yet close to the village. Excellent food. The Salzburg Salt Mine is only a 30-minute drive away. Werfenweng must be incredibly cozy in winter.

We went here to teach our 4 year old granddaughter how to...

We went here to teach our 4 year old granddaughter how to ski, which we succeeded in. The practice meadows down in the ski resort are ideal for young children, with lots of attractions for young children to make learning fun. However, what this resort lacks are wide blue slopes for children to improve on.

Almost the end of the season – many shops already closed. Oddly enough, a large sign is posted at the entrance to the cable car to the local mountain, in German and English, with text roughly as follows: Attention: There are no toilets at the middle or top stations!! This will make some guests think twice about using the cable car at all!!

A very beautiful area, not far from many excursion destinations. For restaurants, you have to drive a bit further. Some restaurants don't accept debit card payments. Many restaurants were closed on Monday and Tuesday.

The location is truly gorgeous and convenient for many attractions in the region. We stayed in the apartments (not the hotel) and the facilities were immaculate, truly full kitchen which allowed cooking. There were a number of issues (see below) and the staff responded very promptly.

Beautiful property in a beautiful location with amazing views. Scenic walks were breathtaking and the village of Werfenweng was just a 15min stroll away. Hosts were welcoming friendly and provided a good guide to the area.
