The room was great, very clean and tidy. Everything you need for a short trip away. The room was comfortable and the facilities/fixings appeared new and good quality. I was arriving and leaving outside of manned office hours, and the staff were very helpful to let me check in when no one was there. Room was even better than the pictures, would definitely stay here again when I come to Bright next.

loved how clean and neat everything was. the units had everything we could have needed and the facilities are great. we loved having a big group dinner by the bbq area, having kids play on playground and running amongst the trees. even thought the weather was terrible we were so comfortable.

The grounds were refreshingly luxuriant, clean and full of freely available amenities like swimming pool, open fire and central bbq. Plenty of open grassed areas for kids to play. Our room was recently refurbished with new kitchen and bathroom, nicely done and not a the usual cheap upgrade. The weather we encountered was delightful and we made plenty of use of the FREE use of the well kept bicycles that the hotel keeps on hand. Owners and manager were very helpful with local travel tips. Very good location, just out of town, and easy parking. Will be a returning guest for sure.

    Lovely pretty town.

    Lovely pretty town. Enjoyed pit stop bros burger joint and Thai restaurant in Ireland st and recommend gum tree pies. Beautiful views above mount beauty and red stag restaurant had amazing views with deers, emus and ostriches. Great alpine break

    Bright is picturesque and one of my favourite places to...

    Bright is picturesque and one of my favourite places to visit any time of the year. You can hire bikes (or bring your own) and ride the rail trail which mostly follows the river meandering alongside bush and farmlands. Mount Buffalo is close by for fantastic views, great bushwalks (outside of winter) and the beautiful old Chalet (currently closed but due to reopen in 2026). In winter you can also cross-country ski and toboggan at Mt Buffalo. The ski fields of Mt Hotham and Falls Creeks are just over an hour away. The canyon walk in the centre of Bright is beautiful and if you are lucky you can catch a glimpse of a platypus. There are a good range of restaurants, cafes & pubs and lots of gorgeous shops to browse - my favourites are Winding Road Design Studio and Bowerbird. If you have kids there is one of the best playgrounds and water play areas right on the river. All in all, Bright is fantastic - we have had many holidays there over the last 25 years and will keep returning as we love it so much. Each time we return we always find something a bit different to do, see or explore.

    A very beautiful town with everything you need for a weekend...

    A very beautiful town with everything you need for a weekend away. Lunch at the hotel was very expensive but wholesome. We enjoyed a trip to the Apple orchard. What a delight that was with lots of choices of apples, cider and souvenirs. The children’s playground was amazing. Thank you Bright for your hospitality.

    Lovely tidy town with great activities and restaurants. The e-bike hire from Bright Electric Bikes was easy and owners were very knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions on which trails to tackle for our level of experience and fitness.

    Beautiful place to visit, especially in Autumn (although make sure you wrap up well as it was cold). That didn't bother us as we went prepared. Lovely drives all around if you have your own transport. We went to Mt. Buffalo, the Stag & Deer Farm and drove around the neighbouring towns too. Lots of historical buildings to see and lots of yummy Bakeries to stop and have coffee and cake in. Everyone we met was friendly and we ate some amazing meals in a different Pub / Venue on each night of our 4 night stay.

    Bright has some lovely places to eat and drink - the local Reed and Co Gin Distillery is the perfect spot for an afternoon visit. Bright is close to several local wineries - particularly for nice lunches or afternoon tea. The colours of the leaves in autumn are beautiful and picturesque.

    The location and cleanliness were highly rated. To give a higher rating i would recommend better pillows, they were awful. The shower needed looking at made an awful sound. As you cannot cook inroom not even toast, a discount at the hotels food options pub cafe and restaurant would be highly regarded. But i do recommend accommodation and would come back again.

    Great location, very central to Bright and only a short 10 minute stroll to the town centre. The cabin was clean and had everything you needed. Good water pressure on the shower! Comfy beds (The cabin offered a double bed, and 2 sets of bunks).

    We rented apartment 6 for 2 nights. The hotel is centrally located and has a locked bike storage area which was helpful as we were on a cycling holiday. They also have a washing machine and dryer guests can use which was also helpful.
