Clean, modern and cosy. Unit is as described and as per photos. Lovely cereals, bread, juice and local jams left for breakfast. Emily was quick to respond to communication and was waiting for us on our arrival.

It was special, the facilities and the finish and the attention to detail were outstanding. The views were incredible. Watching the sunset, moon rise, stars and even sunrise were all breathtaking. The location was very convenient for swimming, hiking, restaurants, food shops and icebreakers 😄 It is not only a great place it is also maintained extremely well and every thing is to a great standard. The fact that the two bedrooms were equally great was wonderful for us as we were friends travelling. The welcome package and information was excellent. We have spent 3 weeks staying at different great places all along the west side of Australia and this is by far the best. Keep up the great work. It was such a treat. We will be back. Thank you.

The location was absolutely spectacular! The staff were very friendly & helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was a last minute booking, so I thought we would not get into the restaurant for dinner, but they were able to offer us a set menu. The food was SO delicious and the service was great. I would highly recommend staying here and dining in the restaurant as well, the view from the restaurant is so amazing! It is a short drive to Freycinet National Park for some beautiful walks, but if you wanted to, you could stay and sit on your veranda - it is very relaxing. We went for a bushwalk on the art track at the property and saw a wombat, some wallaby's and lots of birds as well. We loved every minute of being here and wished we had booked longer.

The local cafe in Coles Bay was great, perfect coffee, great...

The local cafe in Coles Bay was great, perfect coffee, great pastries, service with a smile. The roads are in excellent condition and you can drive all day without encountering issues. I would suggest a visit to Bicheno for lobster rolls (Lobster shack) and oysters (Marine farm). The walk up to the viewing platform for Wineglass Bay was worth the 400+ metres of steps. The sun is super strong, plan ahead.

We visited outside the peak periods so tours were much more pleasant than full boats and queues. Loved the location of our accommodation away from the township. Be aware that there are limited supply choices in the general stores.

We have walked the Wineglass Bay route previously (recommend) and this time we decided to try the Pennicott cruise. The cruise was fantastic and I highly recommend. All crew members were great and the meal provided in the standard ticket was generous and delicious. The onboard drinks/snacks were also reasonably priced. We visited in June and we were lucky enough to see whales as well as seals on our journey. Freycinet Lodge was lovely for sundowners.

Highly recommend Kayaking we had the most wonderful time and the best guide you could ever hope for. So knowledgable and so much fun. We stopped halfway at a deserted beach for coffee and biscuits. Perfect!

We enjoyed all our meals in Coles Bay.

We enjoyed all our meals in Coles Bay. I spent the day in Freycinet National Park. I walked from the Visitor Centre to the Wineglass Bay Carpark via the Walk and Cycle track. Then did the Wineglass Bay lookout via Hazards Beach circuit. Beautiful views, great walk.

The Lodge is beautiful, service and food is first class.

The Lodge is beautiful, service and food is first class. The staff at the Visitor Information Center were very helpful. I would like to mention the cleanliness of the National Park and I would expect all the areas would be the same as the walk to Wineglass Bay.

Security and privacy, very quite area. Beautiful outlook. Loved the games room, swim spa was a real treat. Great kitchen facilities, loved the choice of outdoor dining. Very modern inside and out. The bed was comfortable and so lovely after our trek through to Wine Glass Bay. Loved the wood burner, and we were spoilt having netflix provided. Our accommodation was conveniently located very close to Coles Bay.

The cottage is located on The Esplande in Coles Bay. From the balcony and living area you can look out on the boat ramp and across to The Hazards. It is a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery. It is well equipped if you want to do some cooking. A washing machine and dryer was a bonus.
