I have Visited Dubbo a few times . Great cafes ,good food , Zoo is well worth a visit . the old Goal worth a visit as well as Aviation museum at Narromine . I like to drive around the new areas & see how the city is growing . Aberdeen Motel near to amenities, pubs, restaurants, RSLs etc. We walked home and felt safe. We ate at the Milestone Hotel; food was very good with a wide selection of wine and beers. After driving Brisbane to Dubbo, tired and exhausted, the room at the Aberdeen was excellent, service and staff polite and excellent communication for our late arrival. Being so close to Dubbo Zoo made our visit there super easy, and the observatory was a nice bonus for something a bit different. Location was perfect and cabins were extremely clean and well set out. The kids absolutely loved seeing the animals in the distance, playing at the park and riding their bikes around. We also loved kicking a ball around and playing family cricket. Was a perfect location and the zoo was amazing! We loved ending our days relaxing on the outside deck.
