A very easy stay to break up our 12-hour journey. Easy parking right by the door. The room was spacious and comfortable. Being a Monday night, it was very quiet. We set the aircon to 19 degrees, with fan on low and slept undisturbed. Due to my schedule, I was wide awake at 3am and rather than disturb my husband, I sat in the comfortable common room which had a very clean, empty fridge freezer, filtered water, cream and coffee. The shared bathroom facilities were immaculate and I had them all to myself each time I went in there.

Lovely town in NSW Riverina.

Lovely town in NSW Riverina. Lots of history to explore and some very special things like the Authentic Deco decor Diner, the Marble work, the bridges across the Murrumbidgee to name few. Lots to do see and explore in a very pleasant area with a great climate Highly recommended.

Gundagai is a lovely town, very lush and pretty with beautiful old buildings which are so representative of early settler style and design. Some of those buildings aren’t occupied now which is a shame but it’s fabulous they are still standing for all to enjoy. The old homes are gorgeous as is the hilly setting, charming. Very friendly staff and top service in restaurants and shops. Thank you. Lou, Kew VIC

The town of Gundagai is full of history.

The town of Gundagai is full of history. You really need a few more days to discover everything. The RSL club has meals but unfortunately not open for dinner Mon-Wed. A few pubs to eat at that are very nice. Freindly people & staff at most shops we visited although not a lot open on Turesdays

A great stopover on our way home from Queensland. The cabin was spacious, clean and comfortable. Shower was amazing! Lovely outlook and the town swimming pool right next door. A very easy walk into the pretty historic town of Gundagai. Criterion Hotel for dinner was excellent outside on the deck. Highly recommended…

I turned up here shivering, freezing g cold dripping wet from torrential rain riding my motorcycle between Albury and the hotel. I was greeted warmly and told to go to my room and have a hot shower and come and deal with the paperwork AFTER that. The staff were amazing.
