The room was beautiful, spacious, comfortable, we had everything we needed. It was meticulously clean and the daily service of the room was perfect. Location was great, parking was great, service was wonderful. The pool and spa pool and sauna were stunning. Everything looked exactly like the photos online.

One of the best things were all the different areas around the hotel where you could sit & relax to read or just talk. The weather was lovely and sunny so just being able to sit outside and enjoy the weather was great. Rooms were quite big, breakfast ( included in price) was very good and staff were all very friendly. Lovely and quiet and not too far from Daylesford.

Enjoy walking through the stunning autumn colours in your winter coat as you soak in the natural beauty all around. The local eateries are a short drive from local accommodation and are popular with both locals and tourists alike. It's the perfect weekend or week long getaway destination. I'll be back!

A lot of places were shut.

A lot of places were shut. We went to Trenton falls and Sailors falls which had limited access and walk into it was closed. All the wineries we drove past were closed. Convent gallery was also closed. Most of the shops were opened in Daylesford.Not a complaint but good to know so you may want to go on a different day.

Hepburn Springs is so much more relaxed than Daylesford and...

Hepburn Springs is so much more relaxed than Daylesford and only a couple of KMs down the road. It has the mineral springs and day spas within walking distance from your accommodation. Rueben's is always popular for pizzas and Italian food. It's my preferred location. It has a wonderful golf course as well!

Hepburn Springs itself is very quiet, sadly a number of businesses are closed and up for sale (ie: pub, cafe, restaurant) but Daylesford -literally a 5 minute drive away- is buzzing! Lots of interesting speciality shops and a few nice cafes and restaurants. Admittedly I stayed mid week (which I'd highly recommend as possibly much quieter) so maybe it's busier on weekends. I had brunch at Virgin in Hepburn Springs and it was lovely. Go for a drive to the national Park, there's lots of nice walks!

Mood lighting which did not enable reading in the lounge room. Open plan bathroom requiring full curtaining to have any privacy. Limited natural light in the bedroom. Comfortable bed and good heating. Massive spa which is water wastage if used.

The rooms were spacious and while next to one another, they each had their own secluded private entry with a front small outside area to sit on a nice warm day to privately enjoy a cuppa or glass of wine, etc. This added to the romance of our stay. The breakfast was delicious and plenty of it. Coffee was great! Unfortunately, we didn't have time to enjoy the spa as we were there for the Swiss Italian Festival which kept us pretty busy. All up, a fabulous place to stay and we'll definitely be back next year.

The Hotel Bellinzona is a very cool, boutique hotel in Daylesford located 5 minutes from the main shops of town and 3 minutes from the Hepburn Springs Reserve and Bathhouse. They have a heated pool, spa and sauna at the hotel which is a main reason for our stay. It was family friendly and I enjoyed the beautiful view of the gardens while soaking in the spa. The restaurant was great for breakfast and dinner. The food and service were excellent. The rooms at the Bellinzona are spacious with a large TV.

The property is beautifully located within a forested area, offering frequent opportunities to observe local wildlife. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything one might need, and enjoying a small fire in the evenings adds a wonderfully relaxing touch. Communication with the owner is smooth, and both check-in and check-out are straightforward. I would certainly recommend this place for larger groups, as it provides a great setting to spend quality time together with plenty of space for everyone

The location was perfect, a short 5 minute walk to the Main Street to cafes and restaurants. The accommodation was extremely clean and comfortable with the kitchen stocked with all utensils etc. if you bought your own food with you. The spa at The Mineral Hotel is a few minutes walk, which was a lovely bonus and very relaxing. I would highly recommend this stay and would not hesitate to book again for the perfect getaway.
