We visited this "ski" lodge in summer. The entire area is a "V" with the one side the road and parking for this stay, the bottom is the ski lift / commercial district, and the right side the top of the mountain. Easy to get your bags to the lodge. Many steps down to town and if you climb the moutain the walk back up the steps is strenuous. The host is wonderful and cooks a tasty, filling breakfast. We enjoyed the other couples in sharing stories from around the world.

Really friendly and helpful staff - they couldn't have been nicer or more friendly and really went out of their way. We had a gorgeous fondue meal Friday night and on Sat we sat at the bar, played games and drank schnapps. It was excellent.

Offering a convenient position within Thredbo Village, House of Ullr is just a 5-minute walk from the Valley Terminal and is nearby the mountain's multiple chairlifts.

We stayed there in November as a family member was competing in the Ultra Trail 100km race. The location is excellent and the resort is fabulous. The apartment/duplex is well located in the resort right on the lakefront. It has a well appointed kitchen. Beds were super comfortable and bed linen excellent.

Bernti's Mountain Inn is located in the ski and mountain-biking destination of Thredbo, in Mount Kosciuszko National Park.
