I was born & raised in Junee so I just love coming home
It’s a beautiful quiet town
It’s the serenity
The RSL dose great meals & the pub up the road
And of course the Licorice & Chocolate factory
It’s has great history of the railway.
But if it’s just peace & quiet you are looking for Junee is the place to go.
And the people of Junee are very friendly

We originally booked a stay at Junee to see the Monte Cristo House last year (2024) but accidentally made a booking for 2025. We stayed in 2024 and again in 2025 and absolutely loved the accommodation and Town. Lots to do if you enjoy relaxing, a great getaway from city life (Sydney) lots of interesting towns to explore.

I love the chocolate and licorice factory, could spend all day there. We had yummy home made pizza at a small shop in the township and strolled around the railway precinct while waiting. We are an older couple and love things all historic. Junee has some great historical restorations in the works and should be proud of their achievements. Great town.

The town centre is separated by the rail line.
The town centre is separated by the rail line. You could catch a train and spend the night in Junee. Town is clean and tidy and easy to walk around on flat surfaces. A lot of historical buildings. Easy walk or short drive to Junee Licorice and Chocolate Factory. The Ex-Services club displays war memorabilia and appears to have been recently upgraded. Staff at the club were friendly and the restaurant serves delicious Chinese meals.
