In one of our most difficult moments, your hotel’s team became a guiding light in our journey. Manager Eastban offered warmth and thoughtfulness when we were thrown into panic after our rental car was stolen. He not only assisted us through the situation, but generously allowed us a late check-out so our children could have a safe place to rest. That kind of kindness is rare and deeply appreciated. Receptionist Brooke was equally remarkable. She personally accompanied us to the car rental company to sort things out, and even after finishing her shift, she followed up with us to see how we were doing and did everything she could to help. Her care went far beyond her duties and made us feel truly seen and supported. With more people like Eastban and Brooke, your hotel will surely continue to radiate warmth, energy, and unforgettable hospitality. Thank you for being one of the most beautiful parts of our journey.

The receptionist and staff on duty are very warm, friendly and helpful. Since we had a long time to spend in Devonport before embarking on our ferry to Geelong, the receptionist advised us to drive to La Trobe. It's a most charming small town with the best gift shop in the world, named the Reliquery. You must not miss this lil town and gift shop. Besides, the hotel's location is so near to the Spirit of Tasmania pier. We had no problems taking our car into the ferry to Geelong. Thank you so much Gateway staff and management

It was a really nice and sunny room with 2 windows. It was very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful location, less than 5 minutes to the beach. And the staff was so friendly and helpful! If I come to Devonport again I will come back! :)

Booked a 3-night stay in a Standard Cabin Bungalow. Our stay was enjoyable and exceptional as it totally exceeded our expectations. There is a free parking space right next to each bungalow, so it was very easy to get our stuff in and out of the car to and from the cabin. The cabin was clean and well-equipped with everything we need. Stepping into the cabin, first is the living/dining area cum kitchen. It was fitted with a stove and kitchenware (possible to cook if you want to), microwave oven (quick heating/cooking, which we used for our brekkie and dinner), large wash basin with cleaning equipment, pantry (with coffee/tea and water boiler) and freezer/refrigerator (Better than most hotels! We got to store our ice cream in it). The round dining table was large enough for 4-6 guests and there was a couch for lounging while watching the TV. There were two bedrooms - one on each side of the living/dining area. One was fitted with two bunk beds (sleeps 4 people). Bunk beds look rather small for larger-sized adults but was alright for us. The other bedroom had a king/queen sized bed with a huge wardrobe that spans the breadth of the room. The beds came with cleaned sheets and duvets/quilts which were perfect for the cold weather at night. I myself ended up sleeping on the couch after watching TV as it was comfy too. The air conditioning and heating was good and kept us warm throughout the night. The toilet was clean and fitted with day lighting, warm heated lighting and ventilation fan. It was very spacious in the toilet, making it super easy for changing up. Under the wash basin was a professional hair-dryer which we absolutely enjoyed using. The shower area was also clean and fitted with a hand-held shower head. Lastly, the price for this 3-night stay for our family is really unbeatable for the number of pax. We had a next-door neighbour who raved about it for two days too HAHA. I'm pretty sure they enjoyed their stay thoroughly...

The hostess, Yvonne, is a sweetheart and is a great hostess. Her little touches in the house, made it feel very welcoming like she baked us a warm homemade bread and gave us a lovely breakfast starter kit including fresh poultry eggs and fresh milk. I would highly recommend staying at Silwood apartment, if you are a couple or a small family of 3, I would highly recommend it !

The farm is a deer farm, it was so interesting watching the herd of deer, didn't expect that! Also sheep there too. Could see the neighbours cows also. The location is about 5-8 minute drive from Latrobe, not too far, a peaceful, relaxing country stay. Belinda is a very friendly host. Comfortable room, fan available and needed as it was a little warm. Breaky cereal and milk etc supplied

The location isn’t far from the Main Street of Latrobe where you will find everything you need for a lovely stay. Being close to the Mersey hospital is a plus if you’re lining up for a procedure. Fiona, our host, is very friendly and accommodating and the cooked breakfast ,means you can eat and then explore the region at your leisure.

This heritage property is in a quiet location on the edge of Latrobe. it is in walking distance of the main eateries. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was good, served in a leisurely manner, we requested a late checkout and it was immediately granted.
