Staff were great and helpful. Especially Chris who helped organise our dinner plans. Front staff and reception and concierge were also very lovely. The location is great if you like to do bush walks. It had a great view, we were lucky with out timing of when we got there. However best to check the weather since it started to rain and got reallllyyy foggy. It's also not too far from the three sisters so we did the night walk there. This resort is a 9.8/10.

    Leura is very beautiful...the whole area of the Blue...

    Leura is very beautiful...the whole area of the Blue Mountains is just lovely. We loved popping into the retail stores and checking out and purchasing what I don't have in the area in which I call home. I recommend for a hearty meal the Cafe & Deli in Leura was delicious. For a special treat the Hotel Majestic in Meadlow Bath for high tea. And a visit to the Mountains isn't complete without a trip to Scenic World.

    We were only in Leura for a few days this time but have been...

    We were only in Leura for a few days this time but have been many times before. It is close to wonderful bushwalks, lookouts and gardens. Spring and autumn are our favorite times for the blossom and autumn leaves. The village itself is full of interesting shops, a little different to the mainstream chain stores. There is everything from expensive designer wear and alpaca knits to second hand clothes stores, fancy handmade chocolates and gourmet foods to a Coles supermarket and a variety of restaurants from reasonably priced to overpriced.( especially for a bottle of wine)

    Leura is conveniently located and within a short walking...

    Leura is conveniently located and within a short walking distance to the vast number of cafes, shops and restaurants. Coffee shops were very appealing, cozy and warm with staff friendly and helpful. A short car drive to Katoomba, the majestic blue mountains and the Everglades gardens. A truly romantic spot for a great, relaxing getaway.

    Quaint village located at the Blue Mountains …great area for walks visiting the local shops & sipping on coffee & eating cakes in the cafes …close to Katoomba , Blackheath & the Megalong Valley . Loved the crisp cold air . Great Winter Escape & only 1.5hrs from Sydney

    Beautiful suburb of the Blue Mountains.

    Beautiful suburb of the Blue Mountains. So many places to enjoy and relax. Very hilly as with all things in the mountains and Autumn is the prettiest time to visit with the changing colours of the trees. The lookouts are amazing, overlooking the valley and beyond.

    Leura is a lovely place that has lots of little shops that...

    Leura is a lovely place that has lots of little shops that are fun to explore and wander around. It is all centrally located on the main street of Leura, so easy to walk up and down. Parking on the main strip is ticketed and costs money, but there is a parking lot behind the shops. We particularly love The Loft for anything crafted and small gifts and Teddy Sinclair always has something interesting to look at. There are several cafes on the strip and I would highly recommend dinner at Mr Collins.

    We enjoyed staying at the historical Leura House. Staff was welcoming and made sure we felt comfortable throughout our stay. On our one night stay, the night was cold and we cosied up in our warm beds (electric blankets-bliss!) Our room was spacious and the girls slept well in their single beds. Best part is the close proximity to Leura town. Less than 10min. Safe to walk over to the restaurants, cafes and shops. We would love to see this place in winter when the snow falls on the grand lady- Leura House.

    We could not fault this property. it was beautiful, spotlessly clean with more than enough amenities in a gorgeous setting. Everything was high end and with all the family there, grandparents, son and daughter with their families so much space through out. Certainly we will be telling all our friends about this amazing place. It is about a five minute drive into the lovely village of Leura. We cannot praise this place enough.

    The whole experience was pleasant. Although there were many other guests staying, we were not bothered by the occasional noise from walkways/neighbouring rooms. The room itself was spacious, bathroom well equipped, and the water pressure and temperature was beautiful. It was a shame we did not get to try the inclusive hotel breakfast (0730 - 0930), nor have a swim in the swimming pool as it was still cold.

    Everything about this property was so convenient. Check in was easy, parking was easy, rooms were huge with plenty of space for us as a family. Lots of blankets and electric blankets provided to keep us warm. All at a very good price. We didn’t find the noise bad at all. And just across the road from the train station and some of the better restaurants in Leura. Would definitely stay again!

    Fabulous location, close to Leura. Adjoins Leura Golf Course which is a plus for golf enthusiasts. Grounds are well maintained, both indoor and outdoor pools available. Plenty on offer for kids, very family friendly. Plenty of space in the rooms and easy access from lifts.
