We loved the location and the view. The place was amazing, very lovely and clean. The beds were comfortable and cosy. Dean was lovely. He left us a few bottles of bottled water. We had a few nites out and we found it hard to find the right driveway back to our cabin in the middle of the nite. We did laugh about it as we made numerous turns thinking it was the driveway but it was either bushes or someone else's driveway. We loved our stay here.

Arriving at 5pm and not being able to answer his message, poor Andy was in his office pretty late for mycheck-in and still was very friendly and not mad at all. All that for someone only staying for one night. We had a nice chat and I got a lot of info on this place. Because there were some Orcas in the bay the day before my arrival, I maxed out my time starring out in great hope. Dindn't get lucky. Because of the weather the sunrise wasn't spectacular either. But the room and the view still were. The view even on a rainy winter day was great. After check-out I also could experience that Portland offers everything you could possibly need in this small town. I should have planned with more time for this wonderful place. The kitchen area is well-equiped. It took me a while to fing the water kettle (is that the right term at all?). Just look around and you will find more than you need. The bed is comfortable and the room very big.

Everything about the property was amazing - it was so cozy, clean and central. The kitchen was also stocked with the basics like oil, salt, pepper, coffee, teas, and a small carton of milk.
