Oakey is an excellent venue for bird enthusiasts, with numerous large parks and creeks in the town with many birds and the surrounding areas as well. It is also well located for a day trip to the Bunya mountains. An excellent RSL in town for meals and drinks, also two bakery cafes.Guest review byPeterAustralia - 6.0
It's hard to get about without your own transport.
It's hard to get about without your own transport. I needed to get to the airport, but there was no Uber driver available after more than an hour trying, so eventually called a taxi which had to come from Toowoomba and the fare was $91.00Guest review byLunneyAustralia
