Very pleasant staff on check-in. Super clean room with sound proof double glazing. Lovely new bathroom. Coffee pod machine made it feel 5 Star!! Temperature of the room was perfect. Good easy parking.

Our room was spotless with quality linen. The value for money was exceptional, and the location perfect - the beautiful Queanbeyan River just across the road. A short walk to a great outdoor/ indoor Mexican restaurant overlooking the river with lots of happy people. Other restaurants are just a short walk over the bridge. It was a perfect stay for my daughter and me. I can highly recommend this motel. Check in and check out so easy. We will certainly book again.

    Good access to airport and Canberra central via Canberra ave(10 -15 mins) traffic flows well for Canberra, but once you are in the CBD slows to snail pace. Parking at motel was good, parking in Canberra was also good but expensive. You can see most of the tourist sites in Canberra from this motel within 1/2 hr, we saw most of them within 4 days. If you are a cafe, wine-bar or restaurant and night-life lover then book in the CBD, it has these in spades. As older travellers we like to see museums, art galleries,botanical gardens, zoos etc, so this nearby location was great.

    Fairy quiet town. Good mix of amenities. Short commute to the capital. Lots of parks for kids to play at. Shopping is a good mix available. Easy to get around. Parking near all the shops. Eateries galore in main street. Have tried Cathay Chinese , Royal Turban Indian on previous trips and both are great. The theatre is central to town check it out

    Queanbeyan is on the outskirts of Canberra, with supermarkets and other shops. It is ideally located just 10-15 min drive into the Canberra CBD meaning accommodation is a bit cheaper and usually with free parking when compared to a CBD hotel.

    If you're looking for a great place to dine, my husband and I thoroughly recommend Punjabi Hut, an Indian restaurant in Crawford St, one of the main streets in town. They are open for dinner from 5pm, the service is tremendous and the cuisine is a delight.

    I stayed in Queanbeyan as an alternative to staying in Canberra where I had an appointment. Queanbeyan is a very pleasant city with good amenities, all facilities and in close proximity to Canberra. It is, in my opinion, more friendly and easier to get around.

    We booked a modern looking cabin and arrived to a dated cabin which was located beside a line of skip bins and the boom gate. We happened to have booked the same weekend as Canberra's Summer Nats and we were surrounded by loud, drunk people staying in cabins surrounding ours. They let off firecrackers in the middle of the night and I didn't hear any night manager attend to the noise and disturbance. We were very disappointed with our stay here.

    Travelled for work with my Wife, We had stayed elsewhere the previous night at a more expensive location and found that Parkway Motel was far better even though it was cheaper. We had a spa in the room which was lovely to relax in after a hard day's work. Staff, Facilities, cleanliness, comfort, and location were all exceptional, especially given the cost.

    Older type motel, however well-appointed and nice compact garden in great central location. A lot of eateries close by and good pub next door. Will stay Queanbeyan again as it is within 20 minute drive of Canberra CBD but you have that country town feeling.
