Rooms were clean and cosy with lots of appliances. Location was right next to TCM Market & there is a Hill Street Grocery a little ways down. Lots of Food places around as well.

Love the view from this lovely place . We had many animals ( some goats, sheep ) and wallabies and even a possum that was curious about us . The heater worked really well for the winter weather and the beds were comfortable. Only wish there were more pillows . We only stayed one night but next time would definitely stay longer because if we return to Tasmania

A perfect location to end our Tasmanian holiday. As it is close to the airport . An Immaculately presented studio. Super clean and has everything you need. We stayed just one night. Would highly recommend.

This stunning apartment exceeded our expectations. Very spacious and tastefully decorated. Split level. Lovely plush carpet throughout. Nice views from an outdoor deck. Very reasonably priced. Didn't meet the hosts (Mike and Sally) personally but spoke to them by phone (thanks Mike for your superb assistance). Regret we couldn't stay a lot longer. Highly recommend.

The property was fantastic. Perfect for what we needed while down in Hobart. It was very clean, the beds were very comfortable and the entire apartment was lovely. The added bonus of breakfast cereals, toast, fruits and yoghurt was a lovely touch and would recommend this property. We will stay here again.

Tracey was very welcoming & easy to communicate with. Beds were comfortable, everything was spotlessly clean. Items to use in the pantry- ideal if a first or last night stop in Tasmania. Although close to the airport there was no aircraft noise & the location was very peaceful.

Amazing views and very comfy we had a slight issue either heating but owners resolved very quickly…. Then really toasty 😊 Wallabies all about and when we left early morning we saw a possum 😊

Sandford is a locality and not a town .

Sandford is a locality and not a town . The nearest village is Lauderdale . The area down the peninsular to Opossum Bay is lovely with wide bays, national parks and reserves, some rugged beaches and less rugged beaches at Opossum bay . . It is an easy drive from airport because you can avoid Hobart itself. Roads are good bitumen country roads .

Hazel is a fantastic host and provided all sorts of extra items like bread to toast for breakfast plus butter and jam. This is a ideal place to relax and recover from extensive travels as it is very private and quiet while being close to Hobart Airport and around thirty minutes from the center of Hobart. Yes you will need to have a rental car but what better way to travel around Tasmania.
