The unit is beautifully appointed in a lovely vineyard setting. Many small extra touches such as woodfire, soapy things and a free bottle of the vineyard wine. Staff super nice & welcoming. Sadly we did not have time for the wine tasting, but would have loved to do it. Great stuff, definitely recommend staying here.

    There is so much to see and do in the Granite Belt area.

    There is so much to see and do in the Granite Belt area. Creekview Cottage was the perfect base. Dinner at Varias, part of the Qld College of Wine Tourism) was outstanding. We only had time to do one walk at Girraween National Park. We did the Junction walk for the first time. It is an easier walk alongside the creek that was flowing beautifully after rain the day before. Washpool was definitely worth a visit. Our cottage used their products so we went to check them out. Please support this lovely local business. Our favourite winery (of the 6 we visited) was Pyramid wines. We had breakfast at Brinx Cafe in the main street. Decided it was a good idea to have a big breakfast before a day of wine tasting. Mount Marlay lookout was worth the little drive too.

    A lovey tidy town which the locals are obviously proud of...

    A lovey tidy town which the locals are obviously proud of and take care of. We left in low temperatures and the council workers were already ut and about and tidying things and at work in the gardens. Was a lovely spot. Will come back and spend longer another time.

    There's so much to see, places to visit, and things to do in...

    There's so much to see, places to visit, and things to do in and around Stanthorpe. Also, take a drive out to Ballandean, a magical area just outside Stanthorpe. Visit Heavenly Chocolate, Anna's Candles, and Blue Pot Pantry, and don't forget to drive past The Pyramid. The Ballandean Pub is a charming little hotel and a great spot for a meal. Take the time to explore the region. p

    The information centre was excellent, I recommend this to be your first stop to gain local knowledge & information on what to do & see We visited the thermometer in town, I wish there was detailed information on the weather reading equipment that is housed in the park, overall a great experience

    We went to the Snowflake festival with our grandkids so we didn't get to see around too much at all - we will definitely be returning to check out the wineries and cheese factory's not to mention the granite belt attractions. If you haven't been before definitely get down to check out this gorgeous town.

    Savina cottage was an absolute delight to stay at. I wish I could live there all the time. A cosy cottage with all the amenities. A beautiful fire with plenty of wood. Comfy beds and pillows. An easy walk to the town centre. I would highly recommend Savina cottage and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again next time I’m in Stanthorpe.

    The cabins are well sited within the rocky foothills with surrounding bush, but only a short drive to Stanthorpe, wineries, and National Park. Our delightful host Nicci ensured a top-notch stay at 31 The Rocks, and provided great recommendations on dining and local events. A most enjoyable stay at 31 The Rocks!!

    The room was absolutely clean. The Motel is perfectly placed just at the edge of Stanthorpe. It's just a 5 minute stroll to the city centre. There is also the very good Anna's Restaurant close by. Everything was just perfect :)

    Location, location, location. Walking distance to the Main Street easy tour wine bus pick up from the hotel and lovely renovated bathroom. Despite being on Main Street, was nice and quiet.
